Abstract Background Numerous studies over the past four decades have revealed that breast cancer screening (BCS) significantly reduces (BC) mortality. However, in BRICS-plus countries, association between BCS and BC case fatality disability are unknown. This study examines of different approaches with age-standardized mortality, case-fatality, disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) rates, as well other biological sociodemographic risk variables, across from a national economic perspective. Methods In this ecological applying mixed-effect multilevel regression models, country-specific dataset was analyzed by combining data Global Burden Disease 2019 on female incidence, DALYs rates information national/regional availability (against no such program or only pilot program) type (only self-breast examination (SBE) and/or clinical (CBE) [SBE/CBE] versus SBE/CBE mammographic [MM SBE/CBE] SBE/CBE/mammographic digital mammography ultrasound (US) [DMM/US previous tests] countries. Results Compared to self/clinical examinations (SBE/CBE) BRICS-plus, more complex most significant predictor decreased mortality SBE/CBE: − 2.64, p < 0.001; DMM/US tests: 1.40, 0.001]. CVD presence, high BMI, second-hand smoke, active smoking all contributed an increase DALY rate. High-income middle-income regions had lower than low-income when nationwide programs were implemented. Conclusions The (digital traditional) is associated burden regional variations. light high-quality evidence causal studies, these findings further support preventive role for at level. Intervening related factors may reduce disease BC.

Abstract Background Breast cancer in young women (BCY) is much less common but has significant health sequelae and societal costs. We aimed to evaluate the global regional burden of breast aged 15–39 years from 1990 2019. Methods collected detailed data on Global Burden Disease Study 2019 (GBD 2019) Data Resources. The age-standardised incidence rate (ASIR), mortality (ASMR), disability-adjusted life (ASDR), estimated annual percentage change (EAPC) were used assess disease BCY. Bayesian Age-Period-Cohort model was forecast 2020 2030. Results From 2019, increases ASIR found for BCY (EAPC = 0.59, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.5 0.68), whereas decreases ASMR −0.41, CI −0.53 −0.3) ASDR −0.35, −0.46 −0.24). Across countries with varying sociodemographic indexes (SDI), all regions showed an upward trend morbidity, except a high SDI. While DALYs rates have decreased high, high-middle, middle SDI, they increased low-middle low Countries lower SDIs are projected bear greatest over next decade, including both categories. Alcohol use main risk factor attributed deaths most countries, while exposure second hand smoke predominant SDI countries. Conclusions rise worldwide, there differences. or face even more challenges, as experienced increasing than higher SDIs.

The analysis and interpretation of cytopathological images are crucial in modern medical diagnostics. However, manually locating identifying relevant cells from the vast amount image data can be a daunting task. This challenge is particularly pronounced developing countries where there may shortage expertise to handle such tasks. acquiring large amounts high-quality labelled remains, many researchers have begun use semi-supervised learning methods learn unlabeled data. Although current models partially solve issue limited data, they inefficient exploiting samples. To address this, we introduce new AI-assisted scheme, Reliable-Unlabeled Semi-Supervised Segmentation (RU3S) model. model integrates ResUNet-SE-ASPP-Attention (RSAA) model, which includes Squeeze-and-Excitation (SE) network, Atrous Spatial Pyramid Pooling (ASPP) structure, Attention module, ResUNet architecture. Our leverages effectively, improving accuracy significantly. A novel confidence filtering strategy introduced make better samples, addressing scarcity Experimental results show 2.0% improvement mIoU over state-of-the-art segmentation ST, demonstrating our approach's effectiveness solving this problem.
