Abstract Vinasse is one of the most polluting effluents in sugar-alcohol industry due to its physicochemical properties. It poses a threat soil fertility and can contaminate groundwater if not appropriately handled. Therefore, it important evaluate more sustainable comprehensive vinasse treatment strategies safeguard environmental integrity. So, this work aims sugarcane bagasse peanut shell, as renewable adsorbents, for removal organic matter, pH, turbidity found effluent. Commercial activated carbon was used compare performances. Experimental assays were conducted using adsorbents under three different concentrations (1: 12.5 g L -1 ; 2: 25.0 3: 37.5 ) at 3, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours treatment, controlled temperature (25°C) rotation (200 rpm). The bioadsorbents able promote marked showing natural adsorbent properties without any previous activation. Major COD (63.88%) observed commercial after concentration . For shell bagasse, major 50.94% 45.35%, respectively, final effluent exhibited high residual content, indicating necessity associate with another state, such biodigestion or ozonolysis, acting pretreatment posttreatment.

Abstract Reactive oxygen species reacts with numerous molecules in the body system causing oxidative damage, which requires antioxidants to ameliorate. Pleurotus ostreatus , a highly nutritious edible mushroom, has been reported be rich bioactive compounds. This study evaluated comparative antioxidant activity and phytochemical contents of five extracts P. : aqueous (AE), chloroform (CE), ethanol (EE), methanol (ME) n-hexane (HE). The composition were determined using standard in-vitro assay methods. Results showed that contained alkaloids, tannins, saponins, flavonoids, terpenoids, phenolics, cardiac glycosides, carbohydrates, anthrocyanins, betacyanins varied amounts. CE had highest flavonoid content (104.83 ± 29.46 mg/100 g); AE gave phenol 24.14 0.02 g; tannin was EE (25.12 0.06 HE amounts alkaloids (187.60 0.28 g) saponins (0.16 0.00 g). Antioxidant analyses revealed best hydroxyl radical 250% at 100 µg/ml ferric cyanide reducing power 8495 µg/ml; ME maximum DPPH (87.67%) hydrogen peroxide scavenging (65.58%) 500 nitric oxide inhibition 65.81% ascorbate peroxidase 1.60 (iU/l). total capacity (5.27 GAE µg/ml) ferrous iron chelating (99.23% while guaiacol 0.20(iU/l). characteristics (IC 50 ) followed order: > HE. Overall, extraction solvent for . high phenolic compounds, makes it source potential candidate development new therapies variety stress-related disorders.

With the increasing sustainability challenges, synthetic biology is offering new possibilities for addressing emerging problems through cultivation and fermentation of mushrooms. In this perspective, we aim to provide an overview on research applications mushroom biology, emphasizing need increased attention inclusion rapidly advancing field in future technology over China other countries. By leveraging mushrooms are expected play a more versatile role various area, including traditional fields like circular economy, human wellness pharmaceutics, as well vegan meat, mushroom-based materials pollution abatement. We confident that these efforts using strategies have potential strengthen our capacity effectively address sustainable leading development social economy ecology.

Scientific irrigation scheduling is crucial for conserving agricultural water resources, as excessive diminishes crop yield and imprecise application can equally reduce use efficiency (WUE). In Western Liaoning Province, China, where scarcity critical, traditional regimes are commonly used peanut cultivation, with local farmers applying without considering actual demands, thereby reducing yield. this study, field experiments on peanuts were conducted from May to October during 2021 2022 in Heishan County, China. Four regime treatments micro-sprinkler irrigation, different lower limits of soil content, applied: T1 (55% capacity), T2 (65% T3 (75% T4 (85% capacity). The plant height, stem thickness, root length, dry matter weight, yield, WUE, net return measured. Different had significant effects growth. was highest the treatment at 5574 kg·hm−2. Moderate could improve but it difficult simultaneously achieve a high WUE. WUE 5% than that 2022, 1.62 kg·m−3. observed 27,307 yuan·hm−2. treatment, similarity degree 0.83 determined entropy value TOPSIS method, evaluated optimal regime. This not only exhibited favorable balance also maximized economic benefits, making recommendable practice irrigation.

ABSTRACT Extreme exploitation of petroleum fuels has raised concerns around global warming due to increased greenhouse gas emissions, which by the year 2040 are expected rise 43 billion metric tons. Biofuels have gained popularity in recent years because their renewable and environmentally friendly prospects. Second‐generation biodiesel is generated from nonedible raw materials such as food waste, suggested lesser negative impacts on environment does not threaten security. Edible fruit waste (7.65 kg/person) edible vegetable (16 highest contribution 38% waste.
