Sleep disturbance and burnout are common in emergency department health care workers (HCWs), the 2 linked. This cross-sectional study evaluated whether gender, race/ethnicity, clinical roles moderate association between sleep quality among HCWs (N = 129). was assessed with Pittsburgh Quality Index (Pittsburgh > 5: poor sleep) Insomnia Severity (Insomnia 8: insomnia). The abbreviated Maslach Burnout Inventory-9 dimensions of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization , reduced personal accomplishment . Emotional exhaustion 9 either (or both) 6 or < indicated burnout. Logistic regressions were computed for insomnia job role separately. Poor quality, insomnia, seen 64%, 59%, 24% participants, respectively. more frequently reported Black, Indigenous, People Color (BIPOC) vs non-BIPOC (72.9% 52.5%, P .017). Overall, (vs not poor) associated (odds ratio [OR], 3.14; 95% CI, 1.14-8.64). There a significant sleep-burnout relationship women (OR, 4.52; 1.10-18.60) that men. significantly stronger attending physicians 6.92; 1.44-33.24) registered nurses 0.28; 0.03-2.30; value group ∗ predictor interaction term .021). BIPOC had worse than HCWs, affected by gender role. These findings highlight importance person-level factors HCWs.

This, in turn, both mental health personnel they provide. AIM To examine prevalence determinants practitioners Mogadishu, Somalia. METHODS cross-sectional prospective study was performed 246 employed at tertiary hospital who were recruited via random sampling. Data collected using questionnaires that covered sociodemographic, psychological, work-related characteristics, Bivariate multivariate logistic regression analyses identify variables correlated The results presented adjusted odds ratios (AORs), 95%CIs, P values, cutoff 0.05 identifying associations. RESULTS Among participants, 24% (95%CI: 18.8%–29.8%) exhibited symptoms Factors associated included female gender (AOR = 6.60; 95%CI: 2.29-19.04), being married 3.07; 1.14-8.28), divorced or widowed 5.84; 1.35-25.35), working more than 7 night shifts 3.19; 1.30–7.82), having less 5 years job experience 5.28; 1.29-21.65), experiencing poor sleep 5.29; 1.88-14.89), exhibiting depressive 4.46; 1.59-12.53) anxiety 7.34; 2.49-21.60). ABSTRACT Background Sleep disturbances have become increasingly prevalent in modern society. Research suggests that a deficiency magnesium (Mg) may contribute to sleep disturbances. This study aims investigate the association between daily Mg intake and self‐reported duration disorders using data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Methods The dataset includes participants five cycles (2009–2018) of NHANES. associations are analyzed weighted logistic regression. Results Baseline characteristics 21,840 were analyzed. was independently associated with (OR = 1.07, 95% CI (1.01–1.14), p 0.024). Higher quartiles food normal duration.
