Background and Aim: As the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare delivery becomes increasingly prevalent, understanding knowledge, attitudes, practices health science students towards AI is crucial. However, limited evidence exists regarding readiness students, particularly northern Saudi Arabia (KSA), to integrate into their future practices, highlighting need for focused evaluation. We evaluated students' attitude, practice, associated factors toward AI. Participants Methods: The present cross-sectional study was conducted among 384 aged 18 years above from Jouf University, KSA. employed a validated data collection form with four sections: demographics, knowledge (AI principles applications), attitudes (perceptions ethical concerns), (usage confidence tools). three domains' scores were categorized as low (< 60%), medium (60– 80%) high (> based on total scores. utilized Spearman correlation test ascertain strength direction each subscale. Additionally, multivariate analysis identify factors. Results: demonstrated 55.7%, 37.0%, 50.3% students. observed positive between attitude (rho = 0.451, p 0.001), practice 0.353, 0.651, 0.001). Knowledge (p 0.001) 0.002) significantly higher who participated formal training program. Females had level 0.030) than males. Conclusion: In light these findings, refining curriculum incorporate emerges critical strategy addressing gaps Therefore, integrated programs tailored suit local setting can effectively prepare adopt technologies ways that enhance patient care. Abstract Background Nowadays, Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most popular topics that can be integrated into healthcare activities. Currently, AI used in specialized fields such as radiology, pathology, and ophthalmology. Despite advantages AI, fear human labor being replaced by this technology makes some students reluctant to choose specific fields. This meta-analysis aims investigate knowledge attitude medical, dental, nursing experts field about its application. Method study was designed based on PRISMA guidelines. PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar databases were searched with relevant keywords. After selection according inclusion criteria, data extracted for meta-analysis. Result Twenty-two studies included 8491 participants The pooled analysis revealed a proportion 0.44 (95%CI = [0.34, 0.54], P < 0.01, I2 98.95%) knowledge. Moreover, 0.65 [0.55, 0.75], 99.47%). did not show any publication bias symmetrical funnel plot. Conclusion Average levels indicate necessity including educational programs student’s academic curriculum. positive promises acceptance technology. However, dealing ethics education aspects human-AI cooperation are discussed. Future longitudinal could follow provide more guide how incorporated education.

Introduction Worldwide, healthcare systems aim to achieve the best possible quality of care at an affordable cost while ensuring broad access for all populations. The use artificial intelligence (AI) in holds promise address these challenges through integration real-world data-driven insights into patient processes. This study aims assess nurses’ awareness and attitudes toward AI-integrated tools used clinical practice. Methods A descriptive cross-sectional design captured responses three governmental hospitals Saudi Arabia by using online questionnaire administered over 4 months. involved 220 registered nurses with a minimum one year experience, selected convenience sampling method. survey consisted sections: demographic information, assessment AI knowledge, general scale. Results Nurses displayed “moderate” levels technology, 70.9% having basic information about only 58.2% (128 nurses) were considered “aware” as they dealt its applications. expressed openness ( M = 3.51) on side, but also had some concerns AI. conservative AI, significant differences observed based gender (χ² 4.67, p < 0.05). Female exhibited higher proportion negative compared male nurses. Significant found age 9.31, 0.05), younger demonstrating more positive their older counterparts. Educational background yields 6.70, holding undergraduate degrees exhibiting highest attitudes. However, years nursing experience did not reveal variations Conclusion Healthcare administrators need work increasing applications emphasize importance integrating such technology use.
