Carbon
quantum
dots
(CQDs),
a
new
class
of
carbon-based
nanomaterials,

Abstract:
Microwave-assisted
synthesis
has
faced
challenges
in
implementing
its
use
at
the
in-dustrial
level

decades,
including
scaling
up
processes.
While
microwave-assisted
is
established
on
a
laboratory
scale,
there
are
some
drawbacks
associated
with
it,
in-cluding
equipment
and
operational
costs
of
specialized
microwave
reactors,
safety
con-cerns
due
to
high
temperatures
pressures,
reaction
selectivity,
capacity
control
rapid
heating
cooling
rates
kinetics
reactions,
optimization
re-producibility
results.
This
manuscript
discusses
relevant
news
last
ten
years
about
application
industrial
reactors
for
producing
chemicals
level.
