In the western Henan agricultural area, Duhu (Dupo♂ × Hu sheep♀) hybrid lambs are primary breed of local meat sheep, predominantly raised in large-scale indoor feeding systems, although many farmers still rely on grazing. However, limited research exists quality under both grazing and systems. This study examined how affect nutritional quality, flavor, amino acid profile, fatty composition 7-month-old lamb meat. Grazed exhibited significantly (

ABSTRACT This study investigated the impact of dietary supplementation with different forms minerals and vitamins on growth, carcass cum meat qualities, gene expression in Barbari goat kids. Four groups kids (six each group) 6–7 months were fed diets for 120 days: a basal diet (Group A), inorganic B), organic C), nano D). Growth parameters, carcass, genes relevant to metabolism, antioxidant activity, myogenesis assessed. Significant differences ( p < 0.05) observed among growth quality. Meat from supplemented had lower cooking loss (except Group B) higher pigments vitamins. D yellowness, C shear force. Significantly Fe, Zn, Se recorded meats. Fatty acid profile was significantly affected by treatments, saturated fatty (SFA), polyunsaturated (PUFA), n‐6 PUFA. The influenced studied genes. Practical Application : Intake desirable macro‐ micronutrients through means is always preferred over supplements. Meat, including goat, rich unsaturated acids, omega Se, A E, can help address nutritional deficits wellbeing, thus having greater consumer preference market potential. present research showed that trace elements increased their contents meat, besides improvements animal muscle mass, profile. Higher costs nano‐minerals may be limiting factor application production. However, this could countered upscaling production, better absorption, bioactivities, performance, quality healthier nutrient profile, dose rate, eco‐friendly nature. upregulation indicates interaction between genes, highlighting possible mode action. Sheep play a crucial role in India’s pastoral economy, navigating vast grazing lands through complex migration patterns shaped by diverse environmental stressors such as temperature extremes, forage variability, and predation risks. GPS tracking behavioral observations reveal that these animals employ adaptive strategies social cohesion, herd dynamics, individual learning to mitigate challenges optimize resource use. display flexible foraging behaviors selective grazing, adjusting fluctuating conditions. Stress markers, like cortisol levels, further highlight the impact of factors on sheep well-being resilience. This study integrates ecological ethological perspectives explore how influence adaptations among populations India. The findings emphasize importance understanding dynamics for sustainable management conservation efforts. By uncovering mechanisms stress resilience adaptation, research offers valuable insights into functioning ecosystems. It informs protect welfare livelihoods face change.

Zanthoxylum bungeanum seed meal (ZBM), a novel plant protein raw material, has shown promising potential in enhancing the growth of broiler chickens as substitute for soybean (SBM) feed. In artificial digestive experiment vitro experiments, digestibility ZBM and SBM were assessed using SDS-III Single Stomach Animal Biometric Digestion System. Subsequently, 180 1-day old AA chicks divided into three groups vivo experiments: corn–soybean-meal-based diet (CON group); replacing 5% basal (ZBM-1 10% (ZBM-2 group). The period lasted 42 days. Compared to SBM, demonstrated higher crude content, dry matter digestibility, extracorporeal digestible protein. with CON group, broilers ZBM-2 group showed improved ADG ADFI during 1–21 d, 22–42 1–42 d periods (p < 0.05). Furthermore, exhibited significant increases slaughter performance compared substitution also leads reduction serum enzyme indicators Additionally, lipoprotein total cholesterol significantly lower than those Substituting enhances activity superoxide dismutase content immunoglobulin G serum, while reducing malondildehyde utilization matter, protein, energy conclusion, study confirmed that 5–10% diets positive effect on growth, development, antioxidant capacity, immune function, nutrient utilization. This not only provides theoretical foundation but offers an effective approach reliance meal.

Glucose, a primary energy source derived from animals' feed ration, is crucial for their growth, production performance, and health. However, challenges such as metabolic stress, oxidative inflammation, gut microbiota disruption during animal practices can potentially impair glucose metabolism pathways. Phytochemicals, probiotics, prebiotics, trace minerals are known to change the molecular pathway of insulin-dependent improve uptake in rodent cell models. These compounds, commonly used additives, have been well studied ability promote various aspects growth specific effects on modulation not thoroughly explored. This article focuses discovering alternative non-pharmacological treatments diabetes humans, which could significant implications developing additives that enhance performance by promoting metabolism. also aims provide information about natural materials impact explore potential use non-antibiotic health production. Abstract Background Diet regulates rumen microbiota, which in turn affects animal health. The present study evaluated the response of microbiota and immune system lambs to a fermented total mixed ration diet. Methods A 30 were assigned into two groups: group fed an unfermented high‐fiber diet (total [TMR]) low‐fiber (fermented TMR [FTMR]). Results results showed that FTMR markedly ( p < 0.05) increased average daily gain dry matter intake compared TMR. relative abundance Veillonellaceae_UCG‐001 decreased diversity undesirable despite stable overall microbial community diversity. Serum metabolomic analysis combined with enrichment serum metabolites affected by metabolic pathways, significantly influenced amino acid metabolism lambs. There was decrease inflammatory factors treatment, indicating followed same trajectory as changes structure function. Conclusions Overall, reduced diversity, thereby regulating host improving status.

This study evaluated the solubility an advanced chelate technology-based supplement assessed its impact on degradability apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) when replacing inorganic sources. minerals (ACTM) was at pH 5 2. In situ ruminal dry matter (DM), organic (OM), fiber fractions using two fistulated rams fed diets supplemented with either ACTM or minerals. ATTD determined in 6 lambs 100% ACTM, 50% (50% ACTM), sources a Latin square design. Introduction. Trace elements are necessary for the body in negligible amounts, particular ruminants from 0.10 to 50.0 mg per kg of dry matter diet. All these trace biochemical processes body, which maintain normal state metabolism contribute maintaining health and increasing productivity. Ensuring sufficient minerals is a particularly difficult task, since needs most not constant, but depend on physiological factors, including genetics, age, gender, type production level production, also depends composition quality The aim – this article examines effect organic forms mineral additives degree digestibility feed substrate rumen.
