The increasing social and environmental challenges, particularly poverty, have brought entrepreneurship, a highly researched domain, to the attention of academicians. It has emerged as critical issue in context economic development societal well-being. current study presents comprehensive bibliometric analysis field entrepreneurship poverty alleviation explain state, geographical performance, future research agenda. Utilizing VOS viewer (version 1.6.20) R Studio software 4.3.2), 461 final articles were examined extracted from Web Science database, covering period 1998 2022. findings reveal significant increase activity this since 2009, indicating growing demand for it solution challenges. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Gilgit-Baltistan are faced with several critical sustainability-oriented problems within the entrepreneurial ecology. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology create localised participatory research agenda (LPRA) for social enterprises (SEs) bridge the gap between information needs stakeholders in SE ecosystems (SEEs) and academics. In Iraq, social entrepreneurship is increasingly recognised as a promising path towards alleviating poverty and fostering holistic societal development. Poverty eradication crucial for sustainable progress, offers avenues job creation, accessible goods services, overall economic growth. This study aims to enhance the effectiveness of in Iraq by improving economic, social, environmental efficiencies. The research developed three hypotheses, drawing on theories such Opportunity-Based Entrepreneurship, Social Network Theory, Schumpeterian Innovation Model. Through purposive sampling 220 structured questionnaires, 217 responses were analysed. findings indicate that impact strongly predicts alleviation, followed empowerment value, though innovation showed mixed results. Government policies found have insignificant result relationship between attributed perceived inadequate support private sector. Recommendations include regular evaluation strategies, brainstorming sessions, programs, through community individual empowerment. By an environment conducive entrepreneurship, can harness local innovations strengths combat effectively, ensuring development well-being.
