Abstract Certain nanomaterials, including cerium dioxide nanoparticle (CeO 2 NP), have shown promise in modulating microbial composition plants, thereby alleviating stressors such as the notable microgravity space conditions. Using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing, we explored community variations within wheat rhizosphere and endosphere under simulated microgravity. With a 500 mg/L concentration, CeO NP enhanced growth, particularly augmenting root elevating stem diameter root-to-shoot ratio, improving endophytic diversity with less impact on rhizospheric community. Importantly, mitigated impact, increase Bacteroidetes lesser decline of Firmicutes, thus bolstering network stability. Additionally, upregulated metabolic pathways related to carbohydrate metabolism, secondary metabolite biosynthesis, nucleotide metabolism microbiota, alongside microbiota. This insight deepens our understanding nanoparticles' potential adverse effects plants through modulation provides new implications for future exploration nanomaterials enhancing plant health agriculture.

Sustainable food security and safety are major concerns on a global scale, especially in developed nations. Adverse agroclimatic conditions affect the largest agricultural-producing areas, which reduces production of crops. Achieving sustainable is challenging because several factors, such as soil flooding/waterlogging, ultraviolet (UV) rays, acidic/sodic soil, hazardous ions, low high temperatures, nutritional imbalances. Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) widely employed in-vitro they recognized more environmentally sustainably friendly approach to increasing crop yield contaminated fertile soil. Conversely, use nanoparticles (NPs) an amendment has recently been proposed economical way enhance texture improving agricultural yields. Nowadays, various research experiments have combined or individually applied with PGPR NPs for balancing elements response control adverse situations, expectation that both additives might perform well together. According findings, interactive applications significantly increase yields than alone. The present review summarized functional mechanistic basis role NPs. However, this article focused potential direction realize possible interaction at large scale upcoming years.

Abstract The continuous growth of the world’s population and escalating demand for food raise serious concerns about future agriculture. According to FAO’s estimates, agricultural product is expected rise by 60% 2030. However, increasing use chemical fertilizers has shown adverse effects on environment living organisms. In this context, biofertilizers offer a promising alternative hazardous chemicals, supporting sustainability. Biofertilizers are known their eco-friendly, non-toxic, cost-effective nature, contributing soil health, structure, biodiversity preservation. Nevertheless, they face challenges, including poor shelf-life, on-field stability, sensitivity fluctuating environmental conditions (such as temperature, radiation, pH), limitations in long-term use, scarcity beneficial bacterial strains, susceptibility desiccation, high required doses large coverage areas. Commercially available microbe-based have not always met expectations field due various reasons. While there been advancements improve efficiency popularity among farmers, need explore next-generation remains essential. This review primarily focuses advanced biofertilizers, such PGPB (Plant Growth-Promoting Bacteria), fungal nanobiofertilizers, biofilm aiming address these challenges propel sustainable agriculture forward.
