Oxidative stress, driven by reactive oxygen, nitrogen, and sulphur species (ROS, RNS, RSS), poses a significant threat to cellular integrity human health. Generated during mitochondrial respiration, inflammation, UV exposure pollution, these damage cells contribute pathologies like cardiovascular issues, neurodegeneration, cancer, metabolic syndromes. Lifestyle factors exert substantial influence on oxidative stress levels, with mitochondria emerging as pivotal players in ROS generation equilibrium. Phytochemicals, abundant plants, such carotenoids, ascorbic acid, tocopherols polyphenols, offer diverse antioxidant mechanisms. They scavenge free radicals, chelate metal ions, modulate signalling pathways mitigate damage. Furthermore, plants thriving high-altitude regions are adapted extreme conditions, synthesize secondary metabolites, flavonoids phenolic compounds bulk quantities, which act form robust defence against including radiation temperature fluctuations. These promising sources for drug development, offering innovative strategies manage stress-related ailments enhance Understanding harnessing the potential of phytochemicals from represent crucial steps combating stress-induced disorders promoting overall wellbeing. This study offers comprehensive summary production physio-pathological aspects lifestyle-induced explores antioxidants. Additionally, it presents an appraisal medicinal antioxidants, highlighting their development creation therapeutic approaches.

Abstract Plant-based biological nanoparticles (NPs) synthesis is a new technique where molecules and their combinations in plant aqueous extract decrease metal salts, which have dual role the fabrication stabilization of metallic NPs. Here, we used from duckweed ( Lemna minor ) to biosynthesize silver NPs (AgNPs), were verified by shift color pale brown dark brown. AgNPs then further characterized.By High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analysis, most abundant compound vanillic acid, benzoic quercetin, resveratrol, ferulic rutin, p-hydroxy rosmarinic ellagic o-coumaric acid. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), micrograph revealed spherical-shaped synthesized with an average size 40.56 nm. Capping stabilizing agents, present form various biomolecules, responsible for prolonged stability produced AgNPs, as proven FTIR analysis. The Zeta potential surface electric charges was determined be − 27 mV. UV–Vis spectrum indicates broad plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption peak at 450 EDAX test confirmed presence suspension. Abstract In the current study, Heliotropium bacciferum leaf extract was used to biosynthesize copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO-NPs). Various analytical techniques were characterize produced CuO-NPs. Transmission electron microscope investigation indicated well-distributed spherical particles in various development phases. The particles’ diameters ranged from 22.15 37.01 nm, with an average of 24.8 ± 6.1 nm. Energy dispersive X-ray examination confirmed presence nanoscale Cu ions at a high concentration, as seen by strong signal peak 1 keV. Fourier transform infrared spectrum revealed functional groups on green-produced CuO-NPs, evidenced multiple absorption beaks. bands found 3,195 and 2,916 cm −1 that phenolic flavonoid compounds’ alcohols alkanes stretching C–H. Also, band 1,034 is typically attributed CuO production. CuO-NPs exhibited significant bioactivity against isolated molecularly identified fungal strains, including Rhizoctonia solani (OR116528), Fusarium oxysporum (OR116508), Botrytis cinerea (OR116491). Remarkably, highest inhibition percentages recorded 100 µg/mL, values 81.48, 71.11, 50.74% for R. , F. B. respectively. Molecular docking interactions binding affinity −5.1 oxidoreductase −5.2 −5.4 chitin synthase Consequentially, biosynthesized could be employed antifungal biocontrol agents, well using H. synthesis sustainable agricultural applications.

In Europe, food and agricultural waste amount to millions of tonnes annually. Effective management valorisation these residues result in environmental benefits foster opportunities within the circular economy. Composting has emerged as a sustainable method convert into fertiliser, enhancing soil fertility, water retention, crop resilience against diseases. However, an adequate compost production process is vital obtain functional fertiliser. this study, controlled conditions self-produced from horticultural (C1) was compared two other commercial composts, one similar vegetable origin (C2) another chicken manure (C3). Physicochemical parameters nutrient contents three types were analysed, phytotoxicity plant development tests carried out on Lolium multiflorum Lam. seeds Pistacia lentiscus L. seedlings. C1 presented fertility germination C3 showed best seedling development. contrast, C2 low levels germination, because impurities possible substances inhibiting growth, suggesting inadequate formation processes. Finally, C3, although it data C1, produced worst results seedlings, probably high salinity values phosphorus content.
