The volume of difficult-to-process keratin waste is increasing as a result rising global meat production. If not properly managed, this can contribute to environmental pollution and pose threat human animal welfare. An interesting more sustainable alternative therefore the bioconversion using microorganisms their enzymes. This work aimed isolate bacteria from soil samples zoonotic keratins evaluate enzymatic capacity degrade α- β-keratin wastes. A total 113 bacterial strains were isolated subjected taxonomic identification MALDI-TOF MS technique two-step screening for proteolytic keratinolytic activity. ability β-rich substrate was observed in almost all horsehairs. In contrast, when an α-rich used, highest levels hydrolysis only Ker39, Ker66, Ker85, Ker100, Ker101. Strains with biodegradation potential identified molecular biology methods. Phylogenetic analysis 16S rDNA gene sequences allowed assignment selected genera

Understanding the intricate interplay between plant and soil microbiomes their effects on growth productivity is vital in a rapidly changing climate. This review explores interconnected impacts of climate change plant-soil profound agricultural productivity. The ongoing rise global temperatures, shifting precipitation patterns extreme weather events significantly affect composition function microbial communities rhizosphere. Changes diversity activity due to rising temperatures impact nutrient cycling, enzyme synthesis, health pest disease management. These changes also influence dynamics microbe capability promote health. As changes, plants' adaptive capacity partners become increasingly crucial for sustaining agriculture. Mitigating adverse requires comprehensive understanding mechanisms driving these processes. It highlights various strategies mitigating adapting environmental challenges, including management, stress-tolerant crops, cover cropping, sustainable land water crop rotation, organic amendments development climate-resilient varieties. emphasises need further exploration within broader context change. Promising mitigation strategies, precision agriculture targeted microbiome modifications, offer valuable pathways future research practical implementation food security

Nitrogen compounds like ammonia and nitrite can antagonistically affect the environment human health in many ways. The high rise demand for food has led to excessive use of fertilisers eventually causing increased losses reactive nitrogen environment. Ammonia be introduced into through agricultural runoff, wastewater discharges other anthropogenic activities. over-accumulation different forms (ammonia nitrite) ecosystem noxious life including humans aquatic life. High concentrations both nitrogenous nutrient pollution, decreased oxygen levels water bodies ultimately resulting dead zones eutrophication. In elevated cause methemoglobinemia. Remediation these contaminants become a crucial environmental concern recent past. To prevent pollution reduce their harmful effects several mechanisms physical chemical treatments have been it is also required fix remaining pollutants by biological agents. Current review deals with mechanism, organisms, enzymes involved transformation fixation various (fixation using chemicals, modified biochar, solidification, phytostabilisation, nano material-related compounds, etc.)

Black scurf and stem canker caused by Rhizoctonia solani is a significant disease problem of potatoes. Currently, chemical methods are the primary means controlling this pathogen. This study sought to explore an alternative approach harnessing biocontrol potential bacterial mix Bacillus subtilis amyloliquefaciens against black scurf, determine their effect on rhizosphere microorganisms soil microbiota. showed that these bacteria demonstrate antagonistic activity solani. Reduced damage potato plants during growing season in Siberia was observed. The index development decreased from 40.9% 12.0%. treatment tubers with also led change composition microbiota (according CFU, 16S ITS sequencing). accompanied positive plant physiological parameters (spectrophotometric analysis). concentration chlorophyll potatoes increased 1.3 fold (p ≤ 0.001), carotenoids 1.2 0.01) compared control. After treatment, length aerial parts higher number stems 1.4 0.05). yield 8.2 t/ha, while large tuber fraction 16% suppressed pathogenic fungus solani, simultaneously enhanced plants. can be used enhance yield/quality under field conditions.

The purpose of this research is to model the condition seawater quality based on Government Regulation No. 22/2021 about «Implementation Protection and Environmental Management», results which can later be used as a basis for reference concept environmental conservation. was conducted at MV Boelongan Nederland shipwreck site, focusing measurements including physical, chemical, pollutant parameters. Sampling performed various locations near nearby estuaries using purposive sampling. Parameters such pH, temperature, turbidity, dissolved oxygen (DO), biological demand (BOD), salinity, concentrations pollutants like phenol, polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), pesticides were measured analyzed geographic information system (GIS) tools. Data analysis revealed that despite some variations, parameters generally met regulatory standards, supporting marine life tourism activities. However, localized pollution observed, particularly estuary areas, emphasizing need targeted conservation efforts. indicate estuarine areas experience light due land-based runoff, could affect long-term sustainability site. overall location remains favorablefor findings suggest zoning beneficial managing underwater heritage sites, thereby both preservation economic development region. Furthermore, emphasizesthe potential shipwrecks assets, suggesting their role artificial reefs museums thatcontributeto visitors’ recreational educational experiences.

Cuttings are an important way of propagating tea trees ( Camellia sinensis ). In this study, Dahongpao mother tree (MD) and cutting (PD) were used as research objects their rhizosphere soil collected performed metabolomics analysis. At the same time, nutrient content, microbial physiological indexes, carbon source utilization determined, which in turn obtained effect cuttings on metabolites, microorganisms, cycling trees. The results showed that available nitrogen, phosphorus potassium MD significantly higher (p < 0.05) than PD. Secondly, biomass carbon, respiration, bacterial number, fungal actinomycete number also There six groups characteristic metabolites differentiated from PD, content acid, amine, phenol, heterocyclic compound, alcohol lipid was compared to while carbohydrate less MD. five microorganisms with carboxylic amines, fatty acid phenolic sources larger whereas carbohydrates smaller It can be seen This enhanced different rates, increased diversity abundance, promoted transformation, nutrients, facilitated growth study provides reference for use regulate colonization, improve maintain healthy
