In the growth process of , plant’s root secondary metabolism intricately linked to microbial communities that surround it. However, few systematic studies have reported changes in microbiome metabolites during cultivation thus far. this study, amplicon sequencing technology was used determine difference rhizosphere microorganisms . The non-targeted metabolomics method metabolites, relationship between demonstrated by co-expression network analysis. paeoniflorin content (PC) determined HPLC. total phenol (TPC) Folin–Ciocalteu method, flavonoid (TFC) NaNO 2 -Al (NO 3 method. antioxidants were evaluated DPPH, ABTS, FRAP methods. Results showed Proteobacteria had highest relative abundance among all phyla, Halomonas genera. results 693 207 differential detected four groups, which mainly enriched biosynthesis phenylpropanoids, phenylpropanoid biosynthesis, taste transduction, central carbon cancer, plant metabolites. also PC, TPC, TFC, antioxidant capacity white group higher than those other groups. Due to the increasing presence of industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) and its multiple possibilities use, influence different light several biopreparations based on beneficial fungi bacteria hemp’s morphological physiological properties were examined. Different their combinations inoculated seed and/or substrate grown under blue white light. A completely randomized block design was conducted in four replications within 30 days. For biopreparation treatment, vesicular arbuscular mycorrhiza (VAM) combination with Azotobacter chroococum Trichoderma spp. only or both substrate. Generally, highest parameters (stem, root plant length) recorded plants treatment applied spp., Blue negatively affected treatments, resulting lower values all compared control. The leaves of industrial hemp, which have long been considered as a waste product, proven to contain numerous compounds that possess potential biological activity. One the most interesting groups present are polyphenolic compounds, which, due their specific structure, pronounced antioxidant and antihyperglycemic potential. This study aimed detect activity, including potential, water water–alcoholic extracts five commercially available hemp teas, followed by phytochemical profiling. Hemp aqueous ethanolic demonstrate potent properties. Ethanol better scavengers DPPH• OH•, while neutralize NO• better. Both types exhibit in catalase test moderate XOD inhibition. Furthermore, α-amylase inhibitors, stronger anti-α-glucosidase suggesting therapeutic for chronic diseases like insulin resistance or diabetes. Further detailed chemical characterization vivo studies needed validate these findings.

Cannabinoids: cannabidiol (CBD), cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), and cannabichromene (CBC) are lipophilic compounds with limited water solubility, resulting in challenges related to their bioavailability therapeutic efficacy upon oral administration. To overcome these limitations, we developed co-dispersion cannabinoid delivery systems the biopolymer polyvinyl caprolactam-polyvinyl acetate-polyethylene glycol (Soluplus) magnesium aluminometasilicate (Neusilin US2) improve solubility permeability. Recognizing potential benefits arising from entourage effect, decided work an extract instead of isolated cannabinoids. Cannabis sativa inflorescences (Henola variety) a confirming neuroprotective activity were subjected dynamic supercritical CO2 (scCO2) extraction next they combined carriers (1:1 mass ratio) prepare (HiE). In vitro dissolution studies conducted evaluate CBD, CBDA, CBC various media (pH 1.2, 6.8, fasted, fed state simulated intestinal fluid). The HiE-Soluplus consistently demonstrated highest rate Additionally, exhibited permeability coefficients for cannabinoids gastrointestinal tract conditions than it was during using model PAMPA GIT. All three promising blood-brain barrier (BBB) (Papp higher 4.0 × 10−6 cm/s), suggesting effectively cross into central nervous system. improved system hold promise enhancement bioavailability.

The development and progression of cancer are associated with the dysregulation multiple pathways involved in cell proliferation survival, as well dysfunction redox balance, immune response, inflammation. master antioxidant pathway, known nuclear factor erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2) regulates cellular defense against oxidative stress inflammation, making it a promising prevention treatment target. Cannabinoids have demonstrated anti-tumor anti-inflammatory properties, affecting signaling pathways, including Nrf2. Increased following exposure to anti-cancer therapy prompts cells activate mechanisms. This indicates dual effect Nrf2 cells-influencing apoptotic processes protecting toxicity therapy. Therefore, understanding complex role cannabinoids modulating might shed light on its potential implementation an support. In this review, we aim highlight impact Nrf2-related factors, focus treatment. Additionally, presented results several research studies that combined cannabidiol (CBD) other compounds targeting Further should be directed toward exploring effects context

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a nonpsychoactive phytocannabinoid that can be found in Cannabis sativa and possesses numerous pharmacological effects. Due to these promising effects, CBD used wide variety of diseases, for instance cardiovascular diseases. However, CBD, like tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), has low bioavailability, poor water solubility, variable pharmacokinetic profile, which hinders its therapeutic use. Chemical derivatization offers us potential ways overcome issues. We prepared three new derivatives substituted on the aromatic ring by Mannich-type reactions, have not been described so far modification cannabinoids, studied protective effect they cardiomyocytes exposed oxidative stress hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) compared parent compound. Hops (Humulus lupulus L.) are widely recognized for their use in brewing, but they also possess significant pharmacological properties due to rich bioactive compounds, with many varieties exhibiting diverse characteristics. This study investigates the chemical composition and biological activities of extracts from six hop varieties, focusing on quantifying xanthohumol lupulone using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) Total Phenolic Content (TPC) analysis. The demonstrated variability compound concentrations, Aurora showing highest (0.665 mg/g) Zwiegniowski (9.228 mg/g). TPC analysis revealed had phenolic content (22.47 mg GAE/g). Antioxidant were evaluated DPPH, ABTS, CUPRAC, FRAP assays, Oregon Fuggle displaying most potent capacities. Aurora, particular, showed activity across multiple including acetylcholinesterase (AChE), butyrylcholinesterase (BChE), tyrosinase inhibition, IC50 values 24.39 mg/mL, 20.38 9.37 respectively. chelating was assessed, Apolon demonstrating strongest metal ion binding capacity (IC50 = 1.04 mg/mL). Additionally, exhibited effective hyaluronidase inhibition 10.27 mg/mL), highlighting its potential anti-inflammatory applications. results underscore influence genetic environmental factors profiles offering promising avenues pharmaceutical nutraceutical However, further studies needed fully understand interactions between cones components.
