As
modern
information
technology
advances
and
equipment
devices

extended
reality
(XR)
technologies,
including
virtual
(VR),
augmented
(AR),
virtuality

have
witnessed
an
increasing
use

construction
training.
This
review
aims
to
comprehensively
examine
the
evolution
of
XR
training
domain.

systematic
literature

publications
since
2001
were
included
after
searching
selection
based
preferred
reporting
items
commonly
used
psychological
medical
meta-analyses.
This
identified
three
phases
research:

necessity
significance
exploration
different
methods
tools
using
advanced
technologies.
Findings
from
revealed
that
prevention
hazard
recognition
are
key
topics
field.
Critical
findings
summarized
discussed
to
have
understanding
progress.

meta-analysis

effective

safety,

lower

laboratory
studies.
Thus,
researchers
should
understand
why
