In recent years, treating and reusing polluted water for agricultural irrigation has become essential to ensuring food sustainability. addition the factors affecting human health in vegetables fruits irrigated with treated wastewater, consumer preferences, such as flavor phenolic compounds, should also be examined. This study investigates effect of wastewater on aromatic compounds composition capia pepper, which holds a significant position is extensively used various products industry. Drip untreated from Kalecik Wastewater Treatment Plant was applied two pepper varieties district Ankara, Türkiye. research found that impacted certain aroma components, including para-dichlorobenzene, alpha-cubebene, hexanoate, alpha-farnesene, limonene, isoamyl butyrate, squalene, alpha-copaene, contribute distinct fragrance peppers. Total content, pH, soluble solids were high peppers it observed these parameters increased treatment levels decreased. The highest results obtained wastewater. Results indicate heavy metal align permissible limits, confirming usability both sources. face global scarcity challenge feeding an ever-growing population, studies like this offer valuable insights into sustainable well-informed practices.

Aphids (Myzus persicae Sulzer) and mealybugs (Phenacoccus manihoti) are two economically important pests affecting agricultural crops in Guyana. The principal mode of control is the application synthetic insecticides, which can be prejudicial on environment human health. Alternatively, these controlled using plant extracts with insecticidal repellent properties. This article highlights effects three obtained from locally cultivated Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis was performed to identify chemical compounds present each extract high activity against aphids mealy bugs revealing presence 8, 15, 7 “eucalyptol” common all extracts. Laboratory bioassays were conducted under environmental conditions determine efficacy methanol Zingiber officinale rhizome, Mentha viridis, Jatropha curcas leaves controlling M. Sulzer P. manihoti leaf dip method. Results indicated that significantly (p < 0.05) toxic after 48 h exposure.

Abstract Traps baited with a lure emitting natural oil enriched in α-copaene captured more male Ceratitis capitata Wiedemann (Diptera: Tephritidae) than traps 2 g plug of trimedlure during year-long trials Tunisian citrus ( Citrus sinensis Osbeck, Rutaceae) and Costa Rican coffee Coffea arabica Linnaeus, Rubiaceae). In Rica, were plastic McPhail while Tunisia Tephriti used. Trimedlure plugs changed every six weeks the lures renewed 12 weeks. During high population season, all locations outperformed by 2–3 times. low significantly higher percentage caught at least one medfly comparison to Tunisia, but statistical differences not observed Rica. A longevity trial showed that 16–18 aged still statistically C. These results show are sensitive widely used plugs.
