Exosomes produced by hepatocytes upon lipotoxic insult play a relevant role in pathogenesis of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), suggesting an inflammatory response the activation monocytes and macrophages accelerating progression. In NAFLD fibrosis, endogenous cannabinoids their major receptors CB1 CB2 appear to be highly involved. This study aimed at evaluating expression (CB1R CB2R) plasma-derived exosomes extracted from patients with NAFLD, as well investigating vitro effects circulating cultured human HepaRG cells following introduction into culture medium. The results demonstrated that are vehicles for transport CB1R able modulate CB receptors' cells. particular, drivers cells, acting through downregulation CB2R. Moreover, upregulation was associated increased levels PPAR-γ, well-known mediator tissue injury. conclusion, this provides evidence suggests mediated cannabinoid receptors.

Because of its taste, texture, and aroma, chocolate is consumed as a way to generate pleasant sensations. Due high caloric density, moderate consumption recommended. Seeking offer the benefits this product more selective public, aim research was determine chemical composition sensory properties sugar-free dark added with inulin sweetened stevia extract obtained by pressurized hot water, which compared commercial accompanied analysis samples. A completely randomized statistical experimental design used compare alternative chocolates. The treatments were carried out in triplicate results analyzed descriptive statistics one-way variance 95 % confidence level. showed that treatment leaves water allowed an extraction 41.51 g steviol glycosides for rebaudioside 6.76 stevioside per 100 subjected processing. chocolates indicated fat total dietary fiber contents no significant difference (p > 0.05) between chocolates, unlike other components.
