Mussel refers to a marine organism with strong adhesive properties, and it secretes mussel adhesion protein (MAP). The most vital feature of MAP is the abundance 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) group lysine, which have antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cell adhesion-promoting properties can accelerate wound healing. Polydopamine (PDA) currently widely used mussel-inspired material characterized by good adhesion, biocompatibility, biodegradability. It mediate various interactions form functional coatings on cell-material surfaces. Nanofibers based materials been exerting role in repair, while there no comprehensive review presenting them. This Review introduces structure MAPs their mechanisms materials. Second, functionalized modification inspired electrospun nanofibers application repair. Finally, future development direction coping strategies are discussed. Moreover, this offer novel for repair bring about new breakthroughs innovations tissue engineering regenerative medicine.

A silver-containing gel based on polyvinyl alcohol and aryloxycyclotriphosphazene containing β-carboxyethenylphenoxy p-formylphenoxy groups has been developed. Phosphazene was synthesized via the Doebner reaction from hexakis[(4-formyl)phenoxy]cyclotriphosphazene malonic acid characterized by 1H, 13C, 31P NMR spectroscopy MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. The study of using scanning electron microscopy showed that contains open pores can absorb wound exudate. maximum water absorption capacity 272%, which reached after 80 min testing. antimicrobial activity obtained evaluated diffusion method. found to inhibit growth main microorganisms in contact with skin: bacteria S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, B. subtilis, epidermidis, C. stationis fungus albicans. wound-healing effect vivo a decrease area rabbit hind limb 91.43% (p < 0.05) 10th day observation content C-reactive protein blood serum 1.3 times 0.05).

Deferoxamine, an iron chelator used to treat diseases caused by excess iron, has had a Food and Drug Administration-approved status for many years. A large number of studies have confirmed that deferoxamine can reduce inflammatory response promote angiogenesis. Blood vessels play crucial role in sustaining vital life facilitating the delivery immune cells, oxygen, nutrients, as well eliminating waste products generated during cellular metabolism. Dysfunction blood may contribute significantly development life-threatening diseases. Anti-angiogenesis therapy pro-angiogenesis/angiogenesis strategies been frequently recommended various Herein, we describe mechanism which promotes angiogenesis summarize its application chronic wounds, bone repair, respiratory system. Furthermore, discuss drug system treating diseases, providing constructive ideas inspiration new treatment strategies.
