ABSTRACT
Background
Detailed
information
on
patient
characteristics
and
symptom
burden
associated
with
multimorbidity
in
oncology
patients
is
extremely
limited.
Purposes
were
to
determine
the
prevalence
of
low
(≤
2)
high
(≥
3)
a
sample
outpatients
(
n
=
1343)
undergoing
chemotherapy
evaluate
for
differences
between
two
groups
demographic
clinical
characteristics;
occurrence,
severity,
distress

symptoms;
stability
consistency
clusters.
Methods

Self‐Administered
Comorbidity
Questionnaire,
classified
into
groups.
Memorial
Symptom
Assessment
Scale
was
used
assess
symptoms

patients'
second
or
third
cycle
chemotherapy.

group,
clusters
based
occurrence
rates
identified
using
exploratory
factor
analysis.
Results
Compared
group
(61.4%),
(38.6%)
older,
had
fewer
years
education,
less
likely
be
married
partnered,
employed,
lower
annual
income.
In
addition,
they
higher
body
mass
index,
poorer
functional
status,
longer
time
since
their
cancer
diagnosis,
more
have
received
previous
treatments
metastatic
disease.
Patients
reported
12.7
(±6.7)
15.9
(±7.5)

symptoms,

Managing
knee
OA
requires
using

methods

current
therapeutic
options

on

efficacy,
safety,
potential
roles
in
clinical
practice.
Topical
treatments,

NSAIDs

with
