We aimed to evaluate the effect of emotional dysregulation and impulsivity on suicidality in patients with bipolar disorder by comparing healthy individuals. The study included 85 (59 women, 26 men) education age-matched 65 (44 21 volunteers. The patient group was separated into 3 different groups if they have a suicide attempt history, or suicidal ideation without attempt, neither nor ideation. Sociodemographic Form, Difficulties Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), Barratt Impulsivity (BIS-11), for Suicidal Ideation, Suicide Behaviors Questionnaire scales were applied participants.Patients (n=85) had significantly higher scores emotion than controls (p<0.001, p<0.001). DERS, BIS-11, ideation, behavior correlated. DERS Total BIS attempts According hierarchical regression analysis, strategies, clarity, non-planning impulsiveness found as predictors patients.Suicidal has significant relationship between BD. Clinicians must carefully among this population develop treatment strategies prevention.

Achieving abstinence from drugs is a long journey and can be particularly challenging in the case of methamphetamine, which has higher relapse rate than other drugs. Therefore, real-time monitoring patients’ physiological conditions before when cravings arise to reduce chance might help improve clinical outcomes. Conventional treatments, such as behavior therapy peer support, often cannot provide timely intervention, reducing efficiency these therapies. To more effectively treat methamphetamine addiction real-time, we propose an intelligent closed-loop transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) neuromodulation system based on multimodal electroencephalogram–functional near-infrared spectroscopy (EEG-fNIRS) measurements. This review summarizes essential modules required for wearable efficiently. First, advantages neuroimaging over conventional techniques analysis sweat, saliva, or urine detection are discussed. The knowledge implement wearable, compact, user-friendly systems with EEG fNIRS reviewed. features signals patients use disorder summarized. biomarkers categorized into frequency time domain topography-related parameters, whereas fNIRS, hemoglobin concentration variation functional connectivity cortices described. Following this, applications two commonly used technologies, direct current TMS, introduced. challenges implementing TMS modulation EEG-fNIRS summarized, followed by discussion potential research directions promising future this approach, including substance disorders.

Health-Risk-Behaviors (HRBs) are significant antecedent conditions of adolescents' poor health and mortality. Prevention avoidable adverse outcomes requires an in-depth understanding the factors associated with such outcomes. Among other possible pathways, 'Neuroticism- HRBs-adverse health' link has been supported in previous studies. However, more extensive exploration this is required to identify underlying modifiable risk factors. In present study, one factor, namely, emotion regulation difficulties, was explored see its mediating effect relationship between neuroticism HRBs-the first two constructs mentioned link. quantitative a total 759 adolescents belonging Indian state Punjab (Males= 402; M(age)=16.08) provided relevant information on set standardized questionnaires. Mediation analysis major hypothesis study. The results suggest that difficulty may be mediator neuroticism-HRBs One's regulating emotions might mechanism through which high increases probability indulging HRBs, resulting study implies assessment difficulties should included interventional programs aimed at achieving wellbeing, early intervention avoid progression toward adulthood.
