Primary objectives of neurofeedback training (NFT) are to improve concentration, stress and anxiety management, performance optimisation. This narrative review examines the role NFT as a tool mental cognitive skills target shooting archery athletes. Current research discusses how can act on brain waves by influencing specific EEG frequency bands in order flexibility. contribution reports studies that have applied protocols precision disciplines such shooting. The results considered showed lead faster reaction times, more sustained attention, better emotion contributing significantly athletes’ performance. Furthermore, it is emphasised could be combined with other techniques motor imagination maximise effectiveness sports training. emphasises importance future focus integration biofeedback neuromodulation protocols. perspectives limitations this area also indicated. Neuromodulation means represents promising strategy overall abilities athletes an interesting potential for high-level Future should integrated approaches customised optimise use context.

Sports is a broad field in which success demands lot of practice and self-discipline. The pressure to perform best the emotional turmoil situation may cause pre-competitive anxiety, hence affecting an athlete's cognitive functions. This study aimed evaluate effect Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) on anxiety performance collegiate athletes. Nineteen (Male:Female; 10:9) athletes from Haryana, India, aged 18–25 years, were recruited before National level Inter-University competition Volleyball discipline. Participants randomly relocated 1:1 experimental or control groups. group received two milliampere tDCS over dorsolateral prefrontal cortex for 20 min, placebo (sham with current turned off after 30 s) ten consecutive days. outcome measures Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) scales, biofeedback analysis (E.M.G. biofeedback), Digit symbol substitute test (DSST) Stroop colour word (SCWT) measured at baseline post-treatment. From total 19 randomized athletes, 12 completed treatments within-group revealed p value < 0.05 BAI, DSST, SCWT & E.M.G. Experimental Group. Post-treatment, between-group significantly lower BAI (p 0.05) higher SCWT, DSST values group. direct stimulation safe advanced neurostimulation method regulating cognition, enhancing sports among trial was registered ctri.nic.in (CTRI/2020/06/025749).

Mental fatigue is an important factor affecting athletes' performance. Explaining the effects of mental on sports performance from a theoretical point view can help us deeply understand interconnection between and conduct effective interventions based this. Combining relevant literature in China abroad reveals that current academic theories mechanism include motivational control theory, underload neural waste disposal hypothesis, resource depletion theory. The are reflected aerobic endurance, decision-making, tactical performance, technical Current coping strategies for physiological nutrition (caffeine), odor, noninvasive neuromodulation techniques psychological behavioral music positive thinking.

Abstract Transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) has emerged as a promising tool for neuromodulation, but its application is often limited by the discomfort associated with higher intensities. Newer variants like transcranial temporal interference (tTIS) utilize high-frequency alternating currents (≥ 500 Hz) to penetrate deeper brain regions while mitigating perceptual discomfort. This study sought examine sensation and pain thresholds across various frequencies of currents, aiming explore boundaries comfortable Additionally, we evaluate efficacy an anesthetizing topical cream in increasing participant comfort potentially extending range tolerable levels. We recruited 37 participants applied current head at (10 Hz, 20 1000 2000 determine intensity-dependent perception thresholds. were determined under influence anesthetic. Our findings confirm that frequency increases, perceptibility decreases, allowing manyfold increase intensity before becoming perceptible or causing pain. was efficacious further reducing sensations all frequencies. lays groundwork future research establishing limits intensities, particularly context stimulation. The reduced stimulation, coupled effectiveness creams, enables administration intensities more potent neuromodulatory interventions without
