Early and accurate diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is crucial for timely intervention improved developmental outcomes. Traditional diagnostic approaches, primarily reliant on behavioral assessments, often lack objectivity are limited in detecting early neurobiological changes. This review explores the integration multimodal neuroimaging techniques—including functional MRI (fMRI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), electroencephalography (EEG)—with artificial intelligence (AI)-driven models to enhance ASD detection. We examine recent advances identifying biomarkers that reflect atypical brain connectivity, structure, function infants young children at risk ASD. Furthermore, we assess machine learning frameworks capable complex patterns across modalities predict neurodevelopmental trajectories. Key findings suggest combining data with deep approaches significantly improves precision holds promise forecasting individual Despite these advancements, challenges such as heterogeneity, interpretability, ethical considerations remain. study underscores transformative potential AI-integrated clinical diagnostics calls further longitudinal, research validate translate tools into practice.

Research on the associations between screen time and child development suggests that various forms of might pose a risk for aspects development. However, data impact exposure to media children under 3 years age is comparatively scarce. Although evidence available topic evolving rapidly, no review existing literature has yet encompassed comprehensive set developmental outcomes with focus in first life. To address this research gap, present focused influences aged zero 36 months. These were sleep-related parameters, physical health, cognition, learning efficiency, language, motor skills, socio-emotional social interaction, overall end, ten databases searched systematically, 158 studies published launch iPhone early 2007 until 2024 included. Only reported specific results range months examined, including longitudinal samples at wave assessment. For most outcomes, comparable amount undesirable non-significant was found children's time, while few desirable reported. In line notion resilience, these indicate characteristics child, context, and/or content moderate childhood, thus contributing mitigating potential displacement opportunities or even creating new opportunities. More designs can examine causal effect explicitly role content, context variables are needed.

Toddlers’ lives are increasingly reliant on digital apps, which has led to worries about how they may affect their linguistic and cognitive development. In order help educators caregivers promote healthy behaviors, this study looks at smartphone usage length frequency these skills. Purposive sampling was used pick 37 respondents using a cross-sectional methodology correlational design. A questionnaire gather information usage, the Capute Scale evaluate cognitivedevelopment. Longer use had negative impact development (p=0.003; CC=0.469), while higher associated with lower FSDQ scores (p=0.006; CC=0.444) worse overall language (p=0.008; CC=0.429), according analysis Rank Spearman test. This study’s result emphasizes detrimental relationship between excessive developmental outcomes, emphasizing necessity for keep an eye students’ exposure. Introduction Screen time can have important ramifications for children's development and health. Children exposed to greater screen score lower on assessments of language tend sleep less. However, most studies examining associations among time, development, quality focused older children and/or relied subjective exposure (i.e., parent report). The current study examined whether exposure, assessed via both maternal-report questionnaires in-home audio recordings, was associated with differences in infants at ~6 months age ( N = 187). Methods Mothers completed assess infant production, quality, as well family socioeconomic demographic factors. Language Environment Analysis (LENA) recorder used measure home use the environment. Results Higher income higher maternal education were less by report LENA recordings. Neither significantly environment, maternally-reported or quality. Maternally-reported showed a small but significant positive correlation LENA-derived exposure. Discussion We find no detectable association between maternally reported first 6 life. Future will be needed examine subsequent health outcomes.

ABSTRACT Like a coin, the impacts of screens on children’s development have two sides, as reflected in current scientific knowledge. This narrative review aimed to explore dual-faceted state art regarding screen use, highlighting both positive and negative aspects neurodevelopment, intervention proposals, future perspectives for appropriate use. Recent findings emphasize central points: one hand, benefits such co-viewing use educational content; other excessive passive, non-educational neural networks. In this sense, with advent digital age light results, it is clear that eliminating from daily life unrealistic. Therefore, implementing strategies ensure healthy balance between time activities important child essential.

Objectives: This review assesses how daily exposure to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) affects executive functions in children adolescents explores the roles of parents mitigating potential negative impacts on cognitive development emotional regulation. Methods: Following PRISMA guidelines, a systematic search was conducted from 2022 2024 using PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane Library. The study criteria included cohort studies, randomized controlled trials (RCTs), quasi-RCTs, reviews. Data extraction risk-of-bias assessments were performed ROBIS ROBINS-E tools. Due heterogeneity results, narrative synthesis carried out. Results: Ten studies for analysis, comprising total 231,117 nine countries three continents. Most indicated that excessive ICT negatively functions, particularly working memory, inhibitory control, flexibility, attention. Adverse effects linked increased screen time, poor sleep quality, multitasking. However, two found no significant association, highlighting influence contextual factors like socioeconomic status, parental mediation, content type. Shared use with or siblings appeared reduce effects. Conclusions: Excessive is associated impaired function adolescents. Parental supervision structured may mitigate risks. Future research should investigate moderating factors, such as status content, develop guidelines healthy digital engagement youth.
