In
this
study,
we
examined
the
types
of
gestures
that
occurred
with
motion-based,
static
space-based,
object-based,
and
event-based
metaphors.
A
group
participants
listened
to
three
short
stories
then
retold
them
in
front
a
camera.
The
camera
could
record
participants'
gestures.
Each
story
contained
two
metaphors
each
type.
Our
aim
was
calculate
frequency
occurrence
metaphoric

retelling
stories.

used

analysis

between

This
study
aimed
to
examine
the
embodied
conceptualization
of
hope
through
metaphors.

semi-structured

iconic
