This study examines the impact of life review interventions on depression, resilience, and overall well-being among older adults residing in institutional settings Ernakulam, Kerala. Using a pre-post experimental design, 201 participants from 18 institutions underwent structured 12-session intervention facilitated by trained social work students. Results showed significant improvements well-being. Objective Reminiscence therapy is increasingly being utilized for cancer patients to address psychological pressure and enhance their quality of life. This meta-analysis aimed comprehensively evaluate the effect a reminiscence therapy-involved program (RTIP) on anxiety, depression, life in patients. Methods A systematic literature search was conducted Web Science, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library databases until December 2023 screen randomized control trials (RCTs) comparing RTIP care. Results total 16 RCTs published from 2013 were included, with 1,963 undergoing or without care (RTIP group, N = 984) (control 979). The results showed anxiety score [standardized mean differences (SMD) −0.539; 95% confidence interval (CI) −0.700, −0.378; P < 0.001], rate [relative risk (RR) 0.736; CI: 0.627, 0.865; depression (SMD −0.664; −0.967, −0.361; 0.001), (RR 0.632; CI 0.532, 0.750; 0.001) significantly reduced group compared group. Furthermore, overall increased than 0.501; 0.314, 0.689; 0.001). Abstract Background There is a need for healthcare providers to develop life-story review interventions enhance the mental well-being and quality of life older adults. Trauma experience is common and may impact health care experiences for older adults. As such, training in trauma-informed (TIC) essential professions trainees. In this paper, we describe the use of life-story work, form My Life, Story (MLMS) program as one platform to enhance TIC competencies. Trainees (N = 74) who were physician (57.0%) other trainees did MLMS interviews completed a post-experience survey about trauma disclosures confidence responding these. During these interviews, 36.5% patients described traumatic event 56.8% stressful event, framed by patient "ultimately positive" – leading resilience (42.6%) or negative" negative life outcomes (29.5%), with responses not sure ambivalent.
