Sexual risk behaviors among Muslim girls differ from those of others due to their unique cultural and lifestyle factors, including early marriages, high rates young motherhood, some sexually transmitted diseases, limited educational opportunities. This quasi-experimental study aimed test the effectiveness Risk Behaviors Prevention Program on self-efficacy for safe sexual intimate in adolescent Thai girls. Forty-eight grades 4-6 were recruited, mothers or legal guardians involved program. The participants randomly assigned an experimental group (n = 23) receiving a control 24) only routine sex education. Data collected June-November 2023 using questionnaires Self-efficacy Safe Intimate Behaviors. analyzed independent t-test one-way repeated measures ANOVA. results indicated that mean score was higher than at immediate, 12-, 24-week follow-ups. lower 12- 24-weeks. this program is useful preventing It could be applied encourage behaviors. The literature provides empirical evidence that family economic hardship can increase the likelihood of adolescents engaging in non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI). However, mechanisms underlying this relationship remain unclear. Guided by risky families model, study aimed to investigate whether relative deprivation mediates link between and adolescent NSSI, self-esteem moderates indirect link. A combined 673 (45.9% female; Mage = 12.81 years) completed measures hardship, deprivation, self-esteem, NSSI. results verified mediated positive Additionally, moderated effect on deprivation. Substance use/abuse and suicide are two closely related phenomena, mostly due to neurobiological, psychological, social impairments. In the present narrative review, relationship between suicidal behavior (SB) use abuse of common recreational drugs, such as alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, nicotine, ketamine, psilocybin, MDMA, LSD, has been explored. Furthermore, potential mechanisms linking have also examined. According current research, all substances appear a deleterious effect on SB except for ketamine which could potentially confer protective effect. Further studies needed understand suicide.
