In modern urban development, utilizing the space under overpasses (SUO) contributes to connecting cityscape and facilitating transformation of SUO into a public space. However, existing studies sometimes fail properly take account user requirements, resulting in neglect by population. The solutions proposed are based on assumption that can be renewed, but there is no thorough evaluation methodology determine if current state renewed which areas it needs renewal. this research, all within Third Ring Road Chengdu taken as samples. Based cultural ecosystem services (CES) external spatial quality (ESQ), an system for renewal potential was established overpass with most regeneration selected: Longtan Overpass. Further, KANO model used explore categories residents’ requirements indicators CES Overpass, so propose targeted strategies. This study found positive correlation between satisfaction residents living near Overpass natural aesthetics facade landscape SUO. It also suggests enhancing service such sports, human aesthetics, customs humanities, geographical history improve attractiveness quantitatively assessing value through feasible, provides new ideas methods updating These findings help designers understand how people feel.

The advent of BIM in the construction sector has brought about a significant change process public projects developed and developing countries. However, there is limited information on implementation low-income Therefore, this study aims to critically analyse factors influencing for Malawi. A systematic literature review was conducted identify driving implementation. assess criticality these numerous drivers, questionnaire survey administered purposively select participants industry. key Malawi were analysed using weighted mean. It identified that technological drivers implementation, encompassing availability software allows smooth integration with other knowledge resources, development standardised datasets managing BIM, clear protocol data exchange, among others. This provides theoretical framework evaluating also policymakers industry stakeholders comprehensive strategies facilitate Malawian

Due to the difficulty in measuring intangible effects and reliance on experts for benefit evaluation, actual project data evidence of impact BIM is insufficient. To this end, study collected total cost from 164 power substation projects techno-economic statements 34 SGCC capture costs explore its patterns. Algorithms such as hierarchical clustering based improved DTW feature selection QDA were designed mining. The findings demonstrate that distribution CV% some specific items became more concentrated after application BIM, which indicates enhanced ability predict control costs. Moreover, five shape patterns identified key BIM. It therefore recommended related should be controlled with focus during

The rising complexity of construction projects and the industry’s commitment to sustainable practices have driven extensive adoption Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. A core function BIM is early identification resolution clashes during design phase, which serves mitigate costly rework delays in process. This study presents an advanced method for classifying prioritizing hard between structural components mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems. Employing Best-Worst Method (BWM), this research assigned specific weights MEP elements based on expert evaluations. Six parameters were incorporated into prioritization framework: determined by BWM, outputs from Navisworks software (v2021), ratio volume floor volume, functional purpose each floor, number adjacent elements. custom-developed plugin Autodesk integrated these parameters, enabling real-time automated clash prioritization. Clashes ranked criticality through a calculation involving six enhanced efficiency detection optimizing time cost considerations phase. Case results indicate that beams columns represent most critical elements, while ducts are identified as significant proposed substantially improves accuracy, yielding considerable benefits project management resource allocation.
