Abstract Background Gut microbiome is a community of microorganisms that lives in the human intestine and exerts various functions on host, including metabolic, immunoregulatory, control over cell proliferation. alterations have been associated with pathological conditions, such as diabetes mellitus, obesity, cardiovascular diseases. Gut‐prostate axis explained by association between gut quantitative functional along increased intestinal epithelial permeability prostatediseases.
