A device was developed to study the evolution of fluorescence spectra as a function time. previously designed fluorimeter based on diode array mini-spectrometer CM12880MA used. AbstractMercury, a highly toxic heavy metal, poses significant environmental and health risks, necessitating the development of effective responsive techniques for its detection. Organic chromophores, particularly small molecules, have emerged as promising materials sensing Hg2+ ions due to their high selectivity, sensitivity, ease synthesis. In this review article, we provide systematic overview recent advancements in field fluorescent chemosensors detection, including rhodamine derivatives, Schiff bases, coumarin naphthalene BODIPY, BOPHY, naphthalimide, pyrene, dicyanoisophorone, bromophenol, benzothiazole flavonol, carbonitrile, pyrazole, quinoline, resorufin, hemicyanine, monothiosquaraine, cyanine, pyrimidine, peptide, quantum/carbon dots probes. We discuss detection capabilities, mechanisms, limits well strategies approaches employed design.
