Low-grade inflammation in people living with HIV (PWH) has become a significant contributor to the development of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as heart disease, stroke, and renal dysfunction. Though antiretroviral therapy (ART) dramatically reduced mortality by limiting emergence opportunistic infections, it not been successful eliminating remaining chronic, low-grade activation that persists infected despite viral suppression better CD4+ T cell count. Nonetheless, this relatively asymptomatic subclinical chronic remains poorly understood major PWH. Another important component involved step is Nuclear Factor kappa B (NF-κB) which central transcription factor immune system respond infection. Specifically, p65/RELA subunit attaches LTR (long terminal repeat) gene consequently initiates synthesis genes related reactions. Persistent low-level contributes pathophysiology metabolic-inflammatory NCDs. Therefore, review aims assess complex contextual function NF-κB p65 during HIV-1 particularly among individuals on ART who achieve suppression. Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) is the major agent of recent outbreaks in piglets, which has caused huge economic losses to global swine industry. Since traditional vaccine strategies cannot provide complete protection for development safe, effective, and economical antiviral drugs urgently needed. For many years, Chinese medicines (TCMs) have been broadly applied viral infectious diseases, exhibiting advantages such as abundant resources, lower toxicity, minimal drug resistance. Many herbal monomers, single extracts derived from these drugs, recipes exhibit significant anti-PEDV effects vitro and/or vivo by targeting multiple sites perspectives, including inhibition life cycle, anti-inflammation effects, enhancement host immune response, modulation reactive oxygen species, apoptosis. However, date, no review published on TCM. Therefore, this summarizes current control PEDV systematically analyses research progress TCMs against PEDV. Furthermore, future directions integration nanotechnology artificial intelligence with are also discussed. This will a valuable reference studies research.

Ageing is a complex and unavoidable physiological process which, in simple terms, consists of progressive deterioration the functionality cells, tissues organs, culminating an increased risk developing chronic pathologies. Telomeres, repetitive nucleotide structures at end chromosomes, ensure genomic integrity modulate cellular senescence. The shortening telomere length with each cell division directly correlates susceptibility to However, this shortening, normally inevitable, can be markedly accelerated presence infections, such as HIV-1 infection, by sustained continuous activation immune system, inflammation, generation oxidative stress, or direct alterations produced viral proteins. Thus, narrative review, we discuss 12 hallmarks ageing context understanding molecular changes induced through these well-established pillars could provide holistic approach management HIV-positive patients. At same time, considering that telomeres are centre all changes, assessment impact antiretroviral therapy on necessary guide clinical decisions. ultimate goal research develop personalised therapies increase quality life health outcomes HIV
