BACKGROUND Experiencing a traumatic event can significantly impact mental and emotional well-being. Social media platforms offer spaces for sharing stories, seeking support, accessing psychoeducation. TikTok (ByteDance), rapidly growing social platform, is increasingly used advice, validation, information, although the content of this requires further study. Research particularly needed to better understand relating trauma potential implications young viewers, considering distressing nature subject possibility users experiencing vicarious through exposure these videos. OBJECTIVE This study aims explore trauma-related videos on TikTok, focusing hashtags related trauma. Specifically, analyzes how present support METHODS A quantitative cross-sectional descriptive analysis was performed in December 2022. total 5 were selected: #trauma, #traumatized, #traumatok, #traumatic, #traumabond, with top 50 from each hashtag analyzed (total N=250 videos). standardized codebook developed inductively analyze videos, while an existing generic collect video features (eg, age people video) metadata (likes, comments, shares) video. ABSTRACT Aim TikTok has accrued over 3 million posts and 129 billion views under #acne, establishing itself as a popular platform amongst adolescents to access health information. We conducted an in‐depth thematic analysis of acne videos on determine how engage with content. Methods The top 150 consecutive #acne were subjected rigorous qualitative by experienced researchers (Laxmi Iyengar, Susan Saldanha) until data saturation was reached, guided SRQR (Standards for Reporting Qualitative Research) guidelines. Five themes identified:(1) Pimple popping, (2) Acne education, (3) ‘Acne transformation’ depicting treatment success stories, (4) positivity, normalising (5) reality, capturing the lived experience acne. Results Overall, accumulated almost 2 102 followers. majority content uploaded females (125/150; 84%). Medically trained clinicians represented only 11% (17/150). Pimple‐popping attracted most significant viewership (804 views; 44%; 17% content) despite having lower proportion than education videos, patients (324 34% content). Summary Background Social media is a significant source of information on health-related topics and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The public perception ASD, reflected social media, can raise awareness but also increase stigma. This study examined ASD portrayal TikTok, focusing neurodiversity, content themes, creator identities, the depiction autistic individuals. Materials methods exploratory analyzed 100 TikTok videos: 50 most-watched for #autism both #neurodiversity. reviewed metadata using publicly available data. Results Videos from sample encompassed 97% all views primarily portrayed entertaining content. Neurodiversity videos were more educational less popular. Creators individuals white. Background With TikTok's rising popularity as a hub for health information dissemination, the quality and nature of such content require assessment. This study investigates top 100 most-liked videos tagged with "#acne" on TikTok. aims to examine engagement acne-related TikTok, assess contributions from diverse sources, including physicians non-physicians, guide healthcare professionals in leveraging this platform public education. Methodology A cross-sectional analysis TikTok June 7, 2023, was conducted. Parameters assessed included profession creator, gender, specialty, type, other observable characteristics. The measured using DISCERN tool. Results Of dataset, 38 were by 29 non-physicians. Physician-created had higher mean views, likes, comments, shares, favorites than non-physician-created content.
