Web-based discussion tools have emerged as valuable platforms in teaching and learning chemistry. Despite the increasing use of web-based tools, their effectiveness enhancing cognitive, social, aspects organic chemistry remains underexplored. Therefore, this review aims to address gap by synthesizing relevant literature on these key dimensions. The study adopted a scoping for comprehensively mapping, exploring, clarifying existing body literature. PRISMA was used extract 57 kinds from electronic databases that are Scopus, ISI, Google Scholar, ERIC, Web Science, academia, digital citation. Descriptive statistics analyze current trends cognitive while thematic analysis social aspects. results revealed predominately predominantly utilized at university level (52%) compared secondary schools (48%) more common developed countries than least ones. Moreover, positive impact fostering students' conceptual understanding interaction through proper guidance teachers. However, some critical issues such poor internet, quality discussion, lack hands-on experience, complexity molecular structures, tactile were identified challenges hindering effective implementation tools.

In 2022, the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) assessed creative thinking skills of 15-year-old students, measuring their ability to generate ideas and improve others’ ideas. The present study used a correlational design explore relationship between test scores frequency participation in school activities. Surprisingly, results show that countries with higher activities obtained worse global PISA scientific problem-solving. Even after adjusting performance 2018 increase did not low creativity scores. identified this result as counterintuitive but analyzed it at student level. However, we examined phenomenon country level, which allows us suggest another explanation. This research delved into the integration of PhET simulations in elementary science education, specifically aimed at Grade 3 students. The primary objective was to evaluate how use these digital influenced students’ conceiving scientific concepts, focusing on “States M1atter and Phase Changes” “Solubility Saturation”. Employing a qualitative approach, study observed 19 students who worked pairs trios as they engaged with explore assigned topics address related questions. observations centered tracking interactions their progression through different knowledge phases. We used deductive inductive content analysis analyze transcripts observation. findings reveal that “Remembering” phase, demonstrated tendency relate personal experiences simulations, underscoring real-life context’s role learning. “Understanding” phase highlighted facilitated deeper comprehension, making insightful observations. Additionally, “Application” showcased effective translation simulation-derived practical scenarios, bridging theoretical real-world understanding.
