School Related Factors and Pupil Competency in the Implementation of the Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) Program in Region XII DOI Creative Commons

The Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) Program serves as a vital component of the Department Education’s efforts to promote inclusive culturally responsive education in Philippines. This study aimed examine relationship between school-related factors, namely curriculum, instructional materials, school facilities, pupil competency implementation ALIVE Region XII. Utilizing descriptive-correlational research design, gathered data from 33 heads, 73 teachers/Asatidz, 273 pupils across 26 schools General Santos City, Koronadal Tacurong Kidapawan City. Quantitative analysis, including regression, was employed determine influence factors on competency. Findings revealed that curriculum is highly effective promoting critical thinking fostering values, materials are sensitive aligned with goals. School facilities were rated positively, particularly terms safety maintenance; however, integration technology teaching remains challenge. While demonstrated strong ethical values social responsibility, gap noted language proficiency, especially speaking sentence construction. Regression analysis showed no significant competency, suggesting other influences such quality, learner motivation, external support may play more pivotal role. results emphasize importance addressing both academic non-academic enhancing effectiveness Program. foundational, holistic approach incorporating teacher development, engagement, community essential for skills among learners.

The purpose of this study is to examine the strategies used by Pakistani school principals in both public and private institutions improve teacher motivation. Data were gathered from 150 teachers across three cities Pakistan: Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad. a mixed-methods approach, employing closed-ended open-ended questionnaires for teachers. Additionally, semi-structured interviews conducted with 30 provide deeper insights. Principal component analysis (PCA) inferential statistics quantitative analysis, thematic was qualitative data. results show that schools differ significantly resource allocation, motivational techniques leadership styles. Private more motivated due their greater flexibility, individual support, external recognition programs. Background Studies have shown that perceived self-efficacy can influence teachers’ emotional state, thoughts and behaviours, students’ learning.
