University students' knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) toward COVID-19 are vital to prevent the spread of virus, especially in context developing countries. Abstract Background COVID-19 and its transmission mitigation measures have caused widespread mental health problems. Previous studies suggested that psychological, economic, behavioral, psychosocial problems associated with the pandemic may lead to a rise in self-harm. However, little is known about prevalence of self-harm worldwide during COVID-19. Therefore, quantitative synthesis needed reach an overall conclusion regarding pandemic. Methods By using permutations COVID-19, or relevant search terms, we searched following electronic databases from November 2019 January 2022: Web Science, PubMed, MEDLINE, Embase, PsycINFO, Cochrane Database Systematic Reviews, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Wanfang systematically reviewed evidence according MOOSE guidelines. We employed Cochran’s chi-squared test (Cochran’s Q), I 2 subgroup analysis assess address heterogeneity. A novel coronavirus disease known as COVID-19 has spread globally and brought a public health emergency to all nations. To respond the pandemic, Bangladesh Government imposed nationwide lockdown that may have degraded mental among residents, in particular, university students working professionals. We examined clinically significant anxiety levels with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) scale perceived stress Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-4) an online cross-sectional study 744 adults. Approximately 70% of respondents were afflicted levels, more than 43.82% moderate or high levels. Multivariate logistic regression models showed postgraduates (OR = 2.78, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.03–8.75, p < 0.05) likely experience their student counterparts. No such differences emerged for professionals, however. Healthcare workers (HCWs) are at an increased risk of COVID-19 infection because their direct exposure to suspected and confirmed coronavirus patients in healthcare facilities. This condition is even more acute low-and lower-middle-income countries (LMICs). BackgroundThis study examined the association between media exposure and mental health during second wave of lockdown among general population Bangladesh.MethodsA total 449 adult participants were enrolled in to evaluate their levels media, electronic social media. Mental was assessed using a 7-item generalized anxiety disorder (GAD-7) scale. A multivariate logistic regression model constructed explore relationships anxiety. Participants with significantly more likely experience anxiety, an odds ratio 2.75 (95% CI = 1.40–5.14, p 0.001).
