Abstract
Background
Understanding
the
burden
of
HIV/AIDS
in
China
over
last
few
decades
is
vital
for
creating
effective
control
strategies.
Methods
This
study
systematically
retrieved
data
from
Global
Burden
Disease
(GBD)
2021,

information

to
China.

using
specific
indicators
and
methods,
such
as
incidence,
mortality
disability‐adjusted
life‐years
(DALYs).

Purpose
This
study

This
scoping
review
synthesizes
literature
to
examine
the
extent
of
research
focusing
on
knowledge,
awareness,
perceptions,
attitudes,
and
risky
behaviors
related
sexually
transmitted
infections
(STIs)
in
Southeast
Asia
(SEA).
The
PRISMA-Scoping
approach
was
adopted
targeting
articles
published
from
2018
2022,
sought
CINALH,
PubMed,
Web
Science
Scopus.
A
process
screening
elimination
resulted
a
total
70
reviewed.
Most
studies
were
conducted
Indonesia,
Thailand,
Vietnam,
Malaysia,
with
majority
HIV/AIDS.
In
general,
examining
STIs
SEA
reported
low
levels
across
various
cohorts.
However,
evidence
suggests
that
these
issues
are
more
prominent
among
individuals
education
or
socioeconomic
status,
those
living
rural
areas
working
sex/industrial
sectors.
