Abstract Objective To improve communication and patients' safety in the intensive care unit (ICU), we studied value of applying skin markers wristbands for ICU patients with evidence lower‐extremity deep vein thrombosis (DVT) found on ultrasound screening within 24 h admission. Methods This was a single‐center study over one year. In first six months, applied standard to our (control group) compared them intervention group where introduced DVT. The primary outcome occurrence pulmonary embolism (PE). We also monitored families' satisfaction. Results A total 1231 were admitted during period 96 included (7.8%) being positive Patients equally divided into two periods ( n = 48 each) had no differences demographics, severity scores hospital length stay. PE identical (6.25% each group; p 1.00). Satisfaction higher (very satisfied 89.6% vs. 60.4% controls; 0.001). Conclusion Application DVT upon admission did not reduce but improved satisfaction families.

ABSTRACT Aim Although neuroticism has a negative impact on burnout among healthcare workers, there is little research exploring the specific interactions between different components of and neuroticism. This study aims to investigate this relationship nurses in Emergency Departments (ED) through network analysis method (NAM). Design A cross‐sectional investigative survey was conducted. Feeling anxiety less guilt conscience critical factors ED. Awareness these relationships can help develop strategies curtail burnout. Patient or Public Contribution emergency participated survey.
