By using 14 SSR primer pairs, we here analyzed and compared the amplification results of 534 DNA samples from six red sugar beet germplasm resources under three treatments. Sugar beet is an economically significant crop, and the homozygosity of paired monogerm cytoplasmic male sterile (CMS) maintainer lines directly influences number hybrid combinations that can be created.
