The worldwide spread of SARS-CoV-2 has been responsible for an infectious pandemic, with repercussions on socio-economic aspects and the physical mental health general population. present systematic review aimed to evaluate data belonging European framework, analyzing population by age group. COVID-19 and the resulting measures to curb spread of virus have significantly changed our lives, including nutritional choices. In this rapid scoping review an overview is provided what psychological factors may be associated with peoples’ eating behaviour during restrictions. Relevant literature was identified using PubMed, PsycInfo, CINAHL MEDLINE databases from 2019 onwards. For included studies, information on study characteristics, behaviours, were extracted. 118 articles included, representing 30 countries. Findings indicated that most people consumed more unhealthy food in times restrictions, while some less but often for wrong reasons. Several factors, related (1) affective reactions, (2) anxiety, fear worriers, (3) stress (4) subjective mental wellbeing found increase consumption. These outcomes help better inform future interventions, that, prepared case lockdown scenarios.

Abstract Purpose We investigated how quality of life (QoL) changed between 2018 and 2020, its related factors, i.e., communication with friends family, loneliness, sleeping difficulties amid the early-phase COVID-19 pandemic among Finnish older people. Methods This study utilizes data from a repeated cross-sectional, population-based FinSote survey in 2020. Participants were community-dwelling people aged 75 years or ( N = 9781 9919 2020). QoL was assessed EUROHIS-QoL-8 scale. Changes QoL-related factors self-evaluated Statistical methods included t test, Cohen’s D , chi-square test. To identify potential risk groups, all analyses stratified by socio-demographic features including sex, age, economic deprivation, living alone, Instrumental Activities Daily Living (IADL). Results improved slightly to 2020 (means 3.68 3.81, respectively). Only those reporting deprivation demonstrated slight decrease (3.24 vs. 3.14). Of respondents, 63% reported having less 42% felt lonelier, 20% more pandemic. Negative changes often women, oldest old, manifesting IADL difficulties. The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) resulted in lockdowns and social distancing measures enforced by governments around the world. This study aimed to identify changes adherence Mediterranean diet (MD) physical activity (PA) associations with personality during lockdown.
