The Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) is a new measure of burnout that was developed to address the shortcomings existing instruments. This study investigates psychometric properties Lithuanian version (BAT-LT). In total, 408 adult workers were surveyed (the mean age 35.94 years; 68.6 per cent female; 43.9 held managerial positions). Participants came from different sectors economic activity. results showed BAT-LT had good factorial validity, indicating BAT-LT’s four subscales (exhaustion, cognitive impairment, emotional and mental distance) can be combined into single score. Moreover, Cronbach’s alpha values indicate reliability for all six core secondary symptoms scales. Furthermore, confirmed could differentiated job boredom, workaholism, work engagement depression. Finally, measurement invariance across status sector observed. this provide solid evidence construct validity.

Students’ burnout has been widely investigated in recent decades, mainly showing a higher risk for female students across academic levels. To our knowledge, few studies have whether employed experience risks. In this regard, previous findings shown mixed results. The current study the differences based on students’ gender and worker status. We expected to find among groups their participants were 494 Italian university (49.6% students; 49.4% working students) who completed short version of Burnout Assessment Tool Core dimensions (BAT-C). Firstly, we BAT-C measurement invariance status subgroups. Secondly, multivariate analysis variance (MANOVA) showed significant Specifically, levels exhaustion, cognitive impairment, emotional impairment than male students. Nevertheless, no interactive effects between observed sample. sum up, is key factor understanding several BAT symptoms, it should be considered by staff interested preventing at its dropout consequences.

OBJECTIVE: Despite decades of burnout research, clinical validated cut-off scores that discriminate between those who suffer from and don’t are still lacking. To establish such scores, the current study uses a newly developed questionnaire, Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) consists four subscales (exhaustion, mental distancing, emotional cognitive impairment). Separate cut-offs were computed for at risk suffering severe original BAT-23 as well shortened BAT-12. METHODS: Relative operating characteristic (ROC) analyses carried out using representative samples healthy employees The Netherlands (N=1370), Belgium (Flanders; N=1403) Finland (N=1350). In addition, received diagnosis used (N=335, 158 50, respectively). RESULTS: diagnostic accuracy BAT (area under curve) ranges good to excellent with exception which is fair. country-specific values their specificity sensitivity comparable pooled sample. CONCLUSIONS: addition cut-offs, general can be tentatively in other similar countries, pending future replication studies. Caution warranted distance this subscale relatively poor. It concluded organizational surveys identifying and, treatment settings, burnout, keeping mind tentativeness present cut-offs.

Burnout is a pervasive issue among medical students, exhibiting high prevalence that jeopardizes their academic success and may also predispose them to more severe affective disorders such as depression. This study aims explore the complex relationships between psychological capital (PsyCap), general social support, educational satisfaction, burnout, how these factors collectively influence dropout intentions. A non-probabilistic convenience sample was collected through an online survey from first- second-year students at Faculty of Medicine in Portugal. The employed psychometric instruments measure burnout (BAT-12), support (F-SozU K-6), PsyCap (CPC-12R), satisfaction with education, intentions (Screening Instrument for Students At-Risk Dropping Out). Structural equation modeling applied analyze data 351 participants. model demonstrated significant positive association (β̂ = 0.37; p < 0.001), underscoring direct correlate alongside −0.25; 0.003) −0.22; 0.005). Higher associated reduced −0.28; 0.001) increased 0.22; 0.002). sampling method prevents generalization findings. cross-sectional do not permit inference temporal studied variables. These findings emphasize importance have on intentions, contribute understanding syndromes settings.

The Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) has shown satisfactory validity evidence in several countries, with the 23-item version of instrument reporting adequate psychometric properties also Italian context. This paper is aimed to present results from validation 12-item BAT. Based on a sample 2277 workers, our supported factorial higher-order model represented by 4 first-order factors corresponding core dimensions burnout, namely exhaustion, mental distance, and emotional cognitive impairment. measure invariance BAT-12 between data collected before during COVID-19 pandemic was supported. However, ANCOVA suggest higher score second-order burnout factor comparison earlier data. In line JD-R model, total reported positive association job demands (i.e., workload, time pressure, role conflict) negative resources autonomy, coworkers' support) personal optimism, social self-efficacy, task self-efficacy). Additionally, showed work engagement components vigor, dedication, absorption) attitudes satisfaction, affective commitment). All all, identify as brief reliable tool for measuring among workers.

Abstract This study focuses on the adaptation of Georgia School Personnel Survey (GSPS) to assess perceptions school climate among Portuguese educational professionals, including teachers and support staff. Data from two samples ( n 1 = 1965; 2 2884) were analysed in study. Through confirmatory factor analysis, survey's structure was validated, revealing a second‐order composed six first‐order dimensions. The adapted version GSPS exhibited high internal consistency, affirming its stability across diverse occupational gender groups. instrument revealed measurement invariance, ensuring appropriateness for comparative analysis different demographic validity evidence rigorously tested through relationships with related constructs. It demonstrated large positive correlations job satisfaction work engagement, negative correlation burnout, highlighting role within nomological network constructs climate. results use as tool assessing settings, providing key insights improvement initiatives. underscores importance accurate enhance understanding impact personnel. By strong evidence, this research contributes ongoing efforts improve environments, which is fundamental fostering staff well‐being enhancing institutional effectiveness.
