This research seeks to contribute the ongoing discussion about distinctive nature of burnout and depression. In a first study, we relied on employee samples from four European countries (N = 5199; 51.27% women; Mage 43.14). second large sample patients 5791; 53.70% 39.54) who received diagnosis burnout, depressive episode, job strain, or adaptation disorder. Across all subsamples, bifactor exploratory structural equation modelling achieve an optimal disaggregation variance shared across our measures depression uniquely associated with each specific subscale included in these measures. Our results supported value this representation participants' responses, as well their invariance samples. More precisely, revealed strong underlying global factor representing levels psychological distress, presence equally factors supporting means that, although both conditions share common ground (i.e. distress), they are not redundant. Interestingly, also unexpectedly suggested that suicidal ideation might represent core component

Study 1 (pandemic period) explored work-related self-efficacy, while 2 (post-pandemic) replicated expanded these findings, incorporating distance, self-efficacy in managing negative emotions, workload. Participants included 201 (Study 1) 1442 2) professionals one eight Italian facilities, respectively, who completed online questionnaires. In both cross-sectional studies, was positively associated withdrawal responses, which, turn, related to satisfaction. However, high emotions (rather than self-efficacy) buffered effects. 2, impact of mediated by most pronounced among those low Conversely, individuals maintained their satisfaction did not exhibit withdrawal, even under workload conditions.

Analyses association were assessed through logistic regression reporting odds ratios (OR) 95% confidence intervals (CI) adjusting demographics work-related factors. RESULTS: Higher WLI 1.53 (95% CI 1.05–2.25) times burnout, 2.06 1.68–2.54) dissatisfaction, 1.72 1.47–2.00) turnover 2022. The Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) is a new measure of burnout that was developed to address the shortcomings existing instruments. This study investigates psychometric properties Lithuanian version (BAT-LT). In total, 408 adult workers were surveyed (the mean age 35.94 years; 68.6 per cent female; 43.9 held managerial positions). Participants came from different sectors economic activity. results showed BAT-LT had good factorial validity, indicating BAT-LT’s four subscales (exhaustion, cognitive impairment, emotional and mental distance) can be combined into single score. Moreover, Cronbach’s alpha values indicate reliability for all six core secondary symptoms scales. Furthermore, confirmed could differentiated job boredom, workaholism, work engagement depression. Finally, measurement invariance across status sector observed. this provide solid evidence construct validity.

Abstract Background The knowledge about job demands, control, and support, their potential associations with burnout risk among physicians in Sweden, is limited. This study aimed to explore (i) factors of the JobDemand-Control-Support (J-DCS) model across different groups (ii) association high risk, (iii) buffering impact control support. Methods Cross-sectional data from Swedish Longitudinal Occupational Health Healthcare Survey (LOHHCS) cohort was used. In 2021, a total 2032 respondents submitted questionnaire comprising J-DCS measures (i.e., workplace task-level social support peers managers). Burnout measured using Assessment Tool. Binary logistic regression models were used investigate between variables risk. Interaction analysis performed any moderation associations. Results Job demands significantly associated increased odds (odds ratio (OR) 2.71, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.91–3.84. Workplace (OR 0.50, CI 0.35–0.71) peer 0.61, 0.48–0.77) reduced interaction showed no significant by either or found. Conclusion Sweden. Although had inverse on studies are needed confirm these
