The Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) is a new measure of burnout that was developed to address the shortcomings existing instruments. This study investigates psychometric properties Lithuanian version (BAT-LT). In total, 408 adult workers were surveyed (the mean age 35.94 years; 68.6 per cent female; 43.9 held managerial positions). Participants came from different sectors economic activity. results showed BAT-LT had good factorial validity, indicating BAT-LT’s four subscales (exhaustion, cognitive impairment, emotional and mental distance) can be combined into single score. Moreover, Cronbach’s alpha values indicate reliability for all six core secondary symptoms scales. Furthermore, confirmed could differentiated job boredom, workaholism, work engagement depression. Finally, measurement invariance across status sector observed. this provide solid evidence construct validity.

Abstract Background The Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) is a new burnout measure developed to replace the Maslach Inventory (MBI). Studies have supported psychometric properties and cross-cultural measurement invariance of BAT. However, some unresolved questions remain. These are appropriate level score interpretation, convergent validity with MBI, using sample groups from countries outside Europe. Methods We used cross-sectional survey approach obtain 794 participants Australia ( n = 200), Netherlands 199), South Africa 197), United States 198). In brief, we bifactor modelling investigate interpretation MBI. Hereafter, Rasch model ordinal logistic regression differential item functioning. Results showed large general factor four small group factors, which suggests calculating interpreting score. This further shows that BAT MBI same construct but more comprehensive measure. Most items fit model, few non-negligible Conclusions Our results support in Australia, Netherlands, Africa, States. Furthermore, provide clarity on three previously mentioned questions.

With the wave of positive psychology in second language acquisition, more emotion factors are gaining scholarly attention. Despite extensive research on Trait Emotional Intelligence (TEI), burnout and boredom English as a Foreign Language (EFL) studies, interplay these variables remains unknown related impact EFL learner's Performance (ELP) is still underexplored. Given this, light Control-Value Theory (CVT), present study used quantitative method to examine mediating roles connection between TEI ELP among Chinese university students engaged endeavor. Data were collected from 489 second-year students. Structural equation modeling was utilized analyze relationships. Results revealed that significantly influences students, through its correlation with both burnout. Higher levels associated reduced experiences negative states, which turn linked improved performance. These may imply teacher educators should integrate emotional intelligence training into curricula professional development improve students' effectiveness learning outcome.

Objective The World Health Organization recognizes burnout as an occupational issue. Nevertheless, accurately identifying employee remains a challenging task. To complicate matters, current measures of have demonstrated limitations, prompting the development Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT). Given these circumstances, conducting in‐depth examination BAT's construct‐relevant multidimensionality is crucial. Method This study focuses on both original 23‐item BAT and short 12‐item version, using modern factor analytic methods to investigate reliability, validity, measurement invariance in representative sample from Norway ( n = 493; 49.54% women). Results Our findings revealed that bifactor exploratory structural equation modeling solution (burnout global four specific component factors) best explained data for versions. All factors adequate omega coefficients, with showing exceptional strength. Both versions correlated highly each other another measure, suggesting convergent validity. Furthermore, achieved full (strict) based gender. Finally, our results showed acts mediator proposed job demands–resources model preliminary evidence predictive Conclusions validates Norwegian context. supports unbiased nature tool across genders. also reinforce importance demands resources, along key mediator, understanding workplace dynamics accordance theory.

Many workplaces, within the healthcare sector, experience high rates of mental health problems such as burnout, anxiety, and depression, due to poor psychosocial working conditions midwives are not an exception. To develop preventive interventions, epidemiologic surveillance burnout levels, their relation professional specific is needed. Aims this study assess construct validity Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) in context Swedish midwives, evaluate whether item responses can be combined into a single score differential functioning regarding age. Another aim was levels midwives.Data come from national cohort (n = 1664). The evaluated using Rasch analysis. were presented by median first (Q1) third (Q3) quartiles for BAT total four subscales (exhaustion, distance, cognitive emotional impairment). In analysis including all 23 items fit model obtained. Items each subscale clustered together residual correlation matrix pattern consistent with underlying conceptualization BAT, indicating multidimensionality. re-run testlets input variables which resulted good fit. level 2.0 (Q1 1.6, Q3 2.4). differentiated picture (elevated on exhaustion low other three subscales). The use confirmed. results indicated strong general factor, meaning that score. scale works invariantly different age groups. secure access validated instrument used accurate assessment among Sweden.
