Secondary traumatic stress (STS), or experiencing trauma through exposure to clients’ stories, occurs across helping professions. No studies have focused solely on STS in Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs). In a sample of MFTs (N = 201), this study hypothesized that therapeutic work would be associated with MFTs’ intentions leave their job. Abstract The social work profession was heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this study, we examined well-being, working conditions and intentions to leave among a sample of UK older people’s workers. This cross-sectional mixed methods study analysing data from 426 workers who worked in services at five time points pandemic spanning 2020–2022. The nursing staff's professional quality of life is significantly impacted by their exposure to other people's trauma and anguish on the job. By reducing secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, burnout, project intends develop a psycho-education-based solution that will enhance nurses' life. Objective: To assess impact intervention life, stress, anxiety, depression, resilience. Methods: This quasi-experimental study assessed resilience through pre- post-testing. Purposive sampling was used, participants were assigned or control groups without randomization. ProQOL, BRS, DASS scales measured outcomes. Shared traumatic reality has nagative professional effects on mental health providers. The study explores the of prolonged shared reality, and protective role intergenerational transfer, among Ukrainian psychotherapists during war with Russia, in context their national history events. We conducted focus group interviews 20 therapists who lived worked zones. recorded transcriptions were analyzed, applying two stages inductive thematic analysis, identifying common themes sub-themes. main reported negative effect was compassion fatigue, secondary traumatization lack interpersonal support as dominant risk factors. Positive included satisfaction growth. leading factors active coping social support, while transgenerational transfer empowering messages increased resources. concluded that could promote positive effects, especially chronic suggested a new construct. This paper explores a field training project of tele-drama therapy with community-dwelling older adults during COVID19. Bu araştırma 2023 yılının Şubat ayında meydana gelen Kahramanmaraş ve Hatay merkezli depremler sonrasında psikososyal destek profesyoneli olarak afet bölgesinde uygulama yapan sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının merhamet yorgunluğunun psikolojik sağlamlıklarına etkisini incelenmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Yaş ortalaması x̄=31,88±8,29 olan 141’i (%56,6) kadın 108’i (%43,4) erkektir. veriler Merhamet Yorgunluğu Kısa Ölçeği ile Psikolojik Sağlamlık kullanılarak çevrimiçi anket tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Pearson korelasyon çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizleri Bulgular, düşük düzeyde ikincil travma, orta yorgunluğu, mesleki tükenmişlik sağlamlık yaşadığını göstermektedir. Sonuçta sağlamlıkları travma düzeyleri arasında negatif yönlü bir ilişki olduğu, travmanın sağlamlığın anlamlı yordayıcısı olduğu saptanmıştır.

Background: Western studies have found that nurses are likely to experience both positive and negative emotions in their job, as a helping profession [professional quality of life (ProQoL)] during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, psychosocial work-related variables (e.g. pandemic-related stressors, interpersonal organizational support, coping strategies) associated with such outcomes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare workers (HCW) were categorized as "essential" and "non-essential", creating a division where some "locked-in" system with little ability to prepare for or control oncoming crisis. Others "locked-out" regardless of whether their skills might be useful. Abstract Burnout has a historic and disproportionate impact on social workers is one important contributor to the ongoing health behavioral workforce crisis in United States. Little known, however, about workers’ experiences of burnout their perceptions factors that contribute since COVID-19 pandemic. This study sought explore this by answering following research questions: (a) To what extent are South Carolina experiencing burnout? (b) What do view as top reasons for professional role?
