Secondary traumatic stress (STS), or experiencing trauma through exposure to clients’ stories, occurs across helping professions. No studies have focused solely on STS in Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs). In a sample of MFTs (N = 201), this study hypothesized that therapeutic work would be associated with MFTs’ intentions leave their job. This study examined mediating effect of resilience between psychological distress and organizational support among frontline in two countries, South Korea Singapore. Summary Social workers have had a pivotal role in handling the challenges faced by people dealing with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. This systematic literature review examines the relationship between secondary traumatic stress (STS) and compassion satisfaction (CS) to identify state of science directions for future research. The Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analysis framework was used guide identification evaluation studies. To determine the prevalence of compassion satisfaction, related factors, and predictors among healthcare professionals in Thai intensive care units. A cross–sectional study was conducted 12 units at a university hospital Thailand from August to November 2022. All nurses doctors were invited complete an anonymous online survey which included: Professional Quality Life Scale version 5, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, Passion Flourishing Acceptance Action Questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficients, hierarchical multiple regressions used for data analysis SPSS 28.0. total 178 participated (92.13% nurses, 89.89% female, mean 32.10 years). Average satisfaction (assessed using Scale) moderate, with score 37.94 (SD = 5.58). The final regression model predicting significant explained 65% variance F (11, 154) 26.00, p < 0.001. Abstract Disasters have a profound impact on people’s lives and require effective psychosocial support (PSS) services to mitigate the negative effects accelerate recovery. The Kahramanmaraş earthquakes in Türkiye 2023 posed major challenges for professionals (PSSPs). This study examines role, challenges, needs of PSSPs after these aims find solutions improve service delivery professional well-being. We analysed data thematically by conducting in-depth interviews with thirty from nine institutions most affected provinces. results show that faced numerous including emotional distress, inadequate self-care, difficult working conditions, lack coordination. High expectations experiences traumatic events led burnout secondary stress. Despite various coping strategies, their effectiveness was impaired continuous deployment conditions. Coordination issues inefficiencies, duplication work, feelings inadequacy. emphasizes need improved coordination, structured support, better conditions PSSPs. This qualitative study explored the challenges faced by social workers delivering trauma-related services (TRS) in resource-limited Waterberg District, Limpopo, South Africa. Using a phenomenological design guided ecosystem and trauma-informed perspectives, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 15 experienced workers. Data analysis followed Tesch’s eight steps, data verification per Lincoln Guba’s model.
