Background The negative consequences of depression in college students have garnered global attention, especially relation to academic achievement during the COVID-19 pandemic, which need critical assessment. Since the emergence of COVID-19 in 2019, every country world has been affected to varying degrees. Long-term psychological pressure and anxiety will inevitably damage physical mental health students. This study aimed examine effects pandemic on students who experienced stress clarify which intervention was more effective.A comprehensive literature search conducted between January 2020 December 2022 using online databases such as PubMed, Web Science, Scopus, Google Scholar by following keywords combination: "COVID-19," "stress," "anxiety," "depression," "intervention." The retrieved screened reviewed.A total 2,924 articles were subject keyword searches. After screening through titles abstracts, 18 related studies retained. Their review revealed that: (1) most did not use medication control anxiety; (2) standard methods used reduce religion, counseling, learning about media, mindfulness courses, improving sleep quality, exercise; (3) effective interventions activity raising awareness media programs. However, some show that cannot directly relieve anxiety.Limited are effective, but active coping strategies may help anxiety. implications also discussed.

ABSTRACT Introduction Students’ mental health is recognised as an important public issue, and the strict measures many changes resulting from COVID-19 pandemic may have exacerbated this. The aims of study were thus to explore psychological well-being among university students in Slovenia during beginning second lockdown, assess associations their well-being, demographic characteristics, presence a chronic condition, resilience. Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT) was introduced around the globe during COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that students could continue with their studies social distancing. With the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, social media became one most utilized sources information relating to disease. increased reliance on media, risk excessive use and development addiction emerges. The aim present study was explore psychometric properties Slovenian version Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale, how psychological resilience affects symptoms directly indirectly through depression, anxiety mental distress. A large online cross-sectional conducted in March 2021 among tertiary students (N = 4868). results showed high reliability, unidimensionality criterion validity Scale. proposed structural model fit data well a significant direct positive effect depression stress addiction. Moreover, majority negative effects (87.2%) were indirect, symptoms, whereas had significantly smaller impact by reducing symptoms. overall prevalence 4.6%, with females exhibiting higher proportions than men. Additionally, female users reported complete absence less often compared males. Future research should further mechanisms behind addiction, order gain better understanding apparently different levels for both genders.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted mental well-being, leading to increased stress, anxiety, and social isolation, particularly affecting students' self-confidence academic performance. This study aims establish the relationship between anxiety levels student satisfaction with distance learning in taxation during pandemic. is conducted quantitatively using surveys explicitly targets students from Brawijaya University's Taxation Study Program Indonesia. program was chosen because its distinctive curriculum combines theoretical practical tax components, making it difficult reproduce online. research sample taken purposive sampling.
