The COVID-19 pandemic has exerted a profound impact on numerous facets of our daily lives, including in higher education. International students have encountered unique challenges due to their vulnerability stemming from living abroad, cultural adjustments, language barriers, and separation families friends. This review aims examine the educational, financial, sociocultural psychological impacts experienced by international context identify areas requiring support for this group. A systematic search eight databases yielded 78 relevant papers inclusion. Through qualitative synthesis, presents an increased understanding multifaceted students, encompassing five key themes: 1) unprecedented learning 2) stalled transnational mobility, 3) heightened social, challenges, 4) exacerbated racism racial discrimination, 5) mental health risks. The paper presents the results of research on advantages and disadvantages innovative e-learning during COVID-19 pandemic in higher education. Abstract The main objective of this rapid systematic review was to examine how the COVID‐19 pandemic impacted peer relationships for adolescents (10–25 years age) around globe. We focused on four indices relationships: (1) loneliness, (2) social connectedness, (3) support, and (4) media use. In addition, we examined gender age differences. Four databases (APA PsychInfo, PubMed, Scopus, Web Science) were searched articles published from January 2020 November 2022. A total 96 studies (cross‐sectional: n = 66, longitudinal: 30, quantitative: 67, qualitative: 12, mixed‐methods: 17) met our inclusion criteria (empirical observational with data at least one interest, cross‐sectional COVID‐19‐related experiences or longitudinal collected during pandemic, range 10–25 years, typically developing adolescents). extracted conducted a narrative synthesis. Purpose The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the vulnerability of international students’ education in our V.U.C.A (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) world. It challenged higher institutions to deliver quality equitable aligned with Sustainable Development Goal no. 4. However, studies indicate that this significantly impacted students terms both policy implementation academic experiences online learning. Therefore, study aims explore lessons learned from learning experience studying China during pandemic. Design/methodology/approach This employed an survey Using Microsoft Forms, it collected 125 responses at Project 211 universities. included 67 male 58 female students. Among these, 80 studied locations outside China, while 45 participated within China. This study explored the social policy context for international students in UK and its implications exclusion (an inability to fully participate society). Within a rapid review literature addressing student experience, forty-two articles from Web of Science Social Research Network (SSRN) were selected through multiple screenings. Migration education most areas, followed by inequalities, work, health wellbeing, security, housing. Background The COVID-19 pandemic led to a sudden shift Emergency Remote Learning, significantly impacting students’ mental health. Loneliness and social isolation have gained increasing attention as significant public health concerns, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study explores psychological, social, demographic dimensions of loneliness, emphasizing its impact on mental well-being. A systematic literature review was conducted using multiple academic databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Web Science. Our paper focuses on the issues of social health and psychological safety university students involved in digital sustainable education during COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract The COVID‐19 pandemic control measures substantially impacted the life of university students in UK. While multiple studies investigated early stages pandemic, focusing on risk factors for depression and anxiety, fewer assessed later phases or examined positive protective mental wellbeing. Our longitudinal study changes associations between experiences, lifestyle behaviours, social connectedness wellbeing second year pandemic. validated Warwick–Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale was used to measure primary outcome Self‐reported data from 161 (18–35‐year‐old) England obtained. Data collection took place across two time points with contrasting epidemiological countermeasure attributes. T1 occurred spring 2021, during tail end third national lockdown when indoor household mixing prohibited vaccination rates were low among 18–35 olds. T2 6 months later, autumn restrictions had ended high. Within‐participant showed that significantly improved over months, suggesting adjustment. Fear engagement behaviours decreased as eased. Physical activity levels high did not change time, while greenspace visits diminished. Social support remained same group membership increased time. Mental health and well-being are vital for the success of students, especially in higher education contexts. The last decade has witnessed a growing concern related to mental institutions (HEIs) students worldwide. However, literature this research domain remains fragmented diverse despite advancement research. present study aims provide insight into conducted area two decades, i.e., 1993 2023. Scopus database was used arrive at key articles, identified through thorough keyword string search.
