Meanwhile, low activity is a major risk factor for health problems. This study aimed to determine behavior students in junior high school. Method: research used cross-sectional survey; sample was school children 34 provinces Indonesia collected through Physical Activity Questioner Children (PAQ-C) ASAFA scale. questionnaire distributed Google Forms 138 aged 12-15 years as age range. A size taken by simple random sampling 136 valid questionnaires were then analyzed relationship between variables using Kendall's tau test. Results: results showed that 31.6% had insufficient levels, 14.7% an level dominated female (13.2%). Based on analysis data, it found there strong social support (p= 0.006, r=0.006, r=0.93; 95% CI), nutritional status (p=0.001 r=0.89; (p=0.014 r= 0.38; CI) with activity. Background: This study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a virtual reality-based physical education program on fitness among Korean elementary school students. Methods: The study, conducted at public in South Korea second semester 2022, included experimental and control groups 45 participants each (N=90). All underwent tests before after experiment. students assigned group participated three times week for total 8 weeks (40 minutes per session), while those did not participate any exercise program. effect size was confirmed using Cohen's d, two-way repeated measures analysis variance used analyze changes factors experiment group. Results: Among male participants, we observed significant differences overall health-related fitness, cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength power between (P<0.05). female flexibility, endurance Conclusion: Virtual may help improve indicators students, especially who have experienced deterioration during COVID-19 pandemic. Our results, therefore, highlight need establish facilities level Korea.

During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, prevalence of obesity increased globally; this may be associated with hypertension incidence. However, investigations on changes in among children and adolescents are limited. This cross-sectional study investigated 1428 youths aged 10-18 years using data from Korea National Health Nutrition Examination Survey 2018-2020. We assessed according to sex, age, body mass index (BMI), residential district. The 7.1% 12.5% all participants. In sex-specific analysis, was found boys. age-specific 13-15 years. BMI-specific an increase prominent normal BMI group. district-specific youth urban areas. Our results show that Korean during COVID-19 outbreak. Physical fitness (PF) is a marker of health in children. Muscular strength and speed-agility PF components play crucial role musculoskeletal development bone health. The outbreaks COVID-19 pandemic changed the daily sports activities younger increasing sedentary habits with detrimental effect on PF. We aimed to investigate impact restrictions Italian school-aged children. We recruited 286 elementary school children, they were tested through an internationally validated battery test, which evaluate muscular (as multifactorial performance) prior (2018) after outbreak (2021).Our results showed reduction lower limb (SBJ boys mean difference (MD) -0.42 m; SBJ girls MD=-0.20 P<0.05) ability (10x5 m MD=14.1 s; 10x5 MD=11.2 P<0.05), while upper remained steady before restrictions. Specifically, for all ages there was but not strength. For recurrent trend, 6-8 only speed-agility, 9-11 speed-agility.Our could be useful help teachers sport specialists improve encourage trainers implement programs children become more active healthier during their lifespan.

COVID-19 public health crisis has exerted immediate negative impacts on children's physical fitness, but the longer-term effects are not clear, and impact children with excess weight is yet unknown. We examined changes in multiple components of fitness response to imposed restrictions, also a year after restrictions were terminated, compared these trends groups boys girls normal weight, overweight, or obesity before pandemic.Information was gathered through Slovenia's national surveillance system, included 41,330 (19,890 girls), aged 5-17, who had their levels measured yearly from 2019 2022. Multilevel linear mixed models, fitted separately for girls, used model individual-level over time centile score each test across 3 groups.Overall decreased markedly all categories between 2020, largest decreases Total Fitness Index observed overweight (-8.4 -7.7 centiles -8.3 -8.8 respectively, p < 0.001). While there some recovery overall level 2020 2022, it remained much lower 2022 most groups, apart obesity. that general cardiorespiratory body power, core, upper strength.A severe decline come close returning pre-pandemic population youth begs urgent population-wide initiatives will provide additional opportunities activity youth. Abstract Background Research on the impact of COVID-19-induced home isolation physical fitness college students is limited. This study aims to compare and analyze test scores in two groups: those who experienced did not, over three consecutive years after enrolment, investigate effects development Chinese students. Methods comparative included longitudinal surveys conducted among medical The participants were divided into an experimental group a control group. indicators measured body mass index (BMI), vital capacity (VC), 50-metre run, sit-and-reach, standing long jump, 1000/800-metre runs (males/females), pull-ups (males) sit-ups (females). Repeated measures analysis variance (ANOVA) was employed, Greenhouse-Geisser correction applied when Mauchly’s assumption sphericity violated. Pairwise comparisons using Bonferroni method. Results A total 6580 participated study, with 3360 (1490 males, 1870 females) enrolled 2019 as 3220 (1326 1894 2017 All completed tests for years. results showed that exhibited decreased performance 1000-metre 800-metre runs, improved sit-and-reach test. After end isolation, there improvement run while no significant differences observed trends other tested indicators. Conclusion findings this indicate environment during COVID-19 had students, specifically terms endurance flexibility qualities, well male BMI. To better prepare future public health emergencies mitigate teaching exercises can be performed at should prioritized. Furthermore, education programs enhance student flexibility.

This study investigated the relationship between fundamental movement skills (FMSs) and health-related fitness (HRF) among first second graders in South Korean elementary schools. It aimed to provide foundational data for developing physical education programs tailored motor development stages levels of younger school students. utilized secondary from activity competence evaluation conducted by Health Physical Activity Institute (HPAI). In October 2023, HPAI evaluated (jumping, running, hopping, static balance, dynamic overhand throwing, kicking) (muscular strength, cardiorespiratory endurance, flexibility) 291 second-grade The collected were analyzed through frequency multiple regression analyses performed using SPSS software. results revealed that higher scores jumping hopping are associated with greater muscular flexibility. Running had no significant effect on HRF elements. Higher balance (i.e., used single-leg stance) increased flexibility, but (balance beam walking) did not have a effect. throwing strength kicking show association. Overall, these findings emphasize importance prioritizing well-rounded health graders. Based derived this study, it is expected serve as theoretical basis including "jumping" "static balance" grade curriculum schools, thereby providing essential guidance.
