Abstract Background Social-health professionals should have knowledge, skills, and use personal resources that promote the helping relationship, access to effective intervention strategies, well-being at work. In this professional group, risk of developing burnout is common quality life strongly related intensity frequency exposure, including indirect critical traumatic events. particular, social health care working with minors face great challenges, emotionally, metacognitively, in terms stress management. This study aims investigate relationship between some (coping emotional regulation metacognition) satisfaction a group social-health suffering from psychosocial distress. Method who work completed self-assessment measures relating Professional Quality Life Scale (PRQOL), Coping Orientation Problems Experienced—New Italian Version (COPE-NVI), Difficulties Emotional Regulation (DERS) Metacognition Self-Assessment (MSAS). Results The showed significant correlations psychological characteristics studied. linear regression analysis using dimensions measured by PRQOL as dependent variables. We then tested several models COPE, MSAS, DERS independent MSAS no significance any three dimensions. Otherwise, COPE proved be predictor for all components. appears predict only component. Conclusions affected problems influenced individual different levels, regardless knowledge skills. They show greater fatigue aspects secondary traumatization when disengagement occurs it seems difficult accept their reactions. Appropriate spaces reflection sharing can modulate maladaptive avoidance caring relationships minors.

In the present study, we aimed to assess frequency of and relationships between alexithymia, burnout, hopelessness in a large sample healthcare workers (HCWs) during third wave COVID-19 Italy. Alexithymia was evaluated by Italian version 20-item Toronto Scale (TAS-20) its subscales Difficulty Identifying Feelings (DIF), Describing (DDF), Externally Oriented Thinking (EOT), burnout measured with scales emotional exhaustion (EE), depersonalisation (DP), personal accomplishment (PA) Maslach Burnout Test (MBI), using Beck Hopelessness (BHS), irritability (IRR), depression (DEP), anxiety (ANX) were Irritability' Depression' Anxiety (IDA). This cross-sectional study recruited 1445 HCWs from urban facility Italy 1 May 31 June 2021. The comparison individuals that positive (n = 214, 14.8%) or not for alexithymia 1231, 85.2%), controlling age, gender, working seniority, revealed subjects showed higher scores on BHS, EE, DP IRR, DEP, ANX, DIF, DDF, EOT lower PA than ones (p < 0.001). linear regression model, seniority as well DDF associated hopelessness. conclusion, increased alexithymia. Comprehensive strategies should be implemented support HCWs' mental health mitigate negative consequences

A Síndrome de Burnout (SB) é uma problemática recorrente no mundo contemporâneo. Tal condição marcada por quadros esgotamento físico e mental resultantes estresse excessivo, na maioria das vezes, oriundo situações do ambiente ocupacional. Durante o período 2020 a 2024, observou-se um crescimento exponencial nos relatos profissionais da saúde (PS) que manifestaram SB. Dentre as principais causas, contexto pandêmico COVID-19, falta insumos hospitalares, insegurança laboral medo se infectar contaminar entes queridos estão cerne conjectura. Através busca materiais literatura, esta revisão integrativa explora, criticamente, quais foram os impactos crise emergencial COVID-19 hospitais, centros cuidado, sua relação com manifestação SB em indiretos atendimento pacientes. Examina-se esfera afetados pela ultrapassa indivíduo, si, abrangendo pessoas ao redor. Compreender efeitos doença primeiro passo para trilhar caminhos visem mitigar jornadas trabalho exaustivas especialistas área saúde.

In the present study, we aimed to assess prevalence and relationships between alexithymia, burnout hopelessness in a large sample of healthcare workers (HCWs) during third wave Covid-19 Italy. Alexithymia was evaluated by Italian version 20-item Toronto Scale (TAS-20), measured using Beck Hopelessness (BHS) irritability (IRR), depression (DEP) anxiety (ANX) were with Irritability‚ Depression‚ Anxiety (IDA).
