Background
In
the
aftermath
of
COVID-19
pandemic,
nurses
may
report
positive
transformations
due
to
struggles
faced
during
outbreak,
but
factors
explaining
this
phenomenon
remain
understudied.
Objective
Considering
crucial

by
social
ties
and
support
overcome
adversity,

connectedness
as
a
moderator
between

post-traumatic
growth
(PTG)

nurses.

longitudinal

sample

180
working
Portuguese
healthcare
institutions

self-report
surveys
at
two
time
points
(baseline
[T1]
follow-up

months
[T2]).

questionnaires,

follow-up.
Attrition

Introduction
The
Coronavirus
disease
2019
(COVID-19)
pandemic
is
a
global
traumatic
event
that
has
profoundly
struck
individuals’
mental
health.
However,
this
might
potentially
promote
positive
transformation
such
as
posttraumatic
growth
(PTG).
Studies
have
indicated
the
COVID-19
negatively
affected
well-being
of
resident
physicians,
but
little
known
about
PTG
among
vulnerable
population
in
China.
Therefore,
study
investigated
prevalence
and
associated
factors
Chinese
physicians
after
3-years
outbreak
COVID-19.
Methods
An
online
survey
was
conducted
from
9
March
to
20
2023.

10-item
Posttraumatic
Growth
Inventory-Short
Form
(PTGI-SF).
