Materials Methods: The search process encompassed reputable academic databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, using a precise keyword strategy (“((molar hypomineralization) OR (enamel hypomineralization)) AND (treatment)”). A total 637 articles were initially retrieved, followed by strict selection adhering PRISMA guidelines. inclusion criteria Randomized Control Trials (RCTs), case series with more than five clinical cases (CSs), involving human participants, availability as free full-text accessible university credentials, English-language publications. Exclusion included reviews, editorials, single-case reports, conducted in vitro, those animals, paid articles, non-English-language Results: yielded 864 which 23 met stringent after meticulous process. These will serve basis for comprehensive analysis MIH treatment approaches. ensures quality relevance chosen detailed assessment strategies. Aim: The objective of this study was to explore the effects fixed orthodontic appliances on enamel structure by assessing microfractures, surface roughness, and alterations in color. Methods: This review followed Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses guidelines. A systematic search online databases conducted using keywords ‘enamel’ AND ‘orthodontic debonding’. Eligibility criteria included both vivo ex clinical trials human teeth. Results Discussion: total 14 relevant papers were analyzed. Various instruments techniques utilized across different studies assess color change, fractures. Conclusions: findings suggest that ceramic brackets may lead an increase fractures, particularly during bracket removal. roughness exhibits variability depending adhesive substance polishing methods used post-removal. Fixed could induce changes color, which be alleviated use nano-hydroxyapatite or specific techniques. Further research is necessary identify effective strategies managing these improving overall outcomes treatment.

Pigmented lesions in the oral cavity mucosa, primarily found African, Asian, and Mediterranean populations, are caused by increased melanin granule production or melanocyte abundance. These typically appear childhood increase with age. This study aimed to evaluate, based on evidence literature, efficacy of diode laser treatment physiological gingival melanosis terms clinical aesthetic variables, patient, compared conventional surgical therapy such as scalpel technique. Electronic databases (PubMed, Web Science Scopus) were examined March 2024, last 10 years. We performed a manual screening reference lists potential studies. The risk bias was measured ROBINS tool. search 840 publications, but 40 them duplicates therefore excluded. Titles abstracts 800 articles accessed 646 After applying inclusion exclusion criteria, we included 12 studies out remaining 154. Data collected from selected organized into tables for comparison study. obtained better results intraoperative bleeding perception pain patient. However, there no differences depigmentation wound healing intensity. Due small research samples heterogeneity data provided, more high degree scientific relevance clear protocol needed.

Objectives: This study aims to review the scientific literature on prevention of white spot lesions (WSLs) associated with fixed orthodontic treatment. WSLs result from enamel demineralization and pose aesthetic functional challenges. The evaluates effectiveness various preventive interventions reduce risk during care. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted using MeSH terms such as “white spot”, “fixed treatment”, “CPP-ACP”, “topical fluoride”, “demineralized lesion”, combined Boolean operator ‘AND’. Databases searched included PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus, OpenGrey, focusing studies published between January 2014 September 2024. inclusion criteria required evaluate aimed at reducing WSL in patients undergoing total 41 articles were screened, 17 selected based relevance methodological rigor. Results: identified several effective strategies for preventing WSLs. Topical fluoride applications, particularly high-concentration varnishes, significantly reduced prevalence, some favoring varnish over other interventions. CPP-ACP CPP-ACPF formulations demonstrated potential remineralizing demineralized enamel, especially when toothpaste. High-fluoride toothpaste acidulated phosphate mouthwash lesion incidence, emphasizing importance patient compliance daily oral hygiene routines. Professional interventions, showed enhanced outcomes re-applied periodically. Conclusions: Preventing treatment is crucial ensuring success therapy. Strategies combining fluoride-based casein phosphopeptide offer significant benefits. However, education adherence recommended practices remain critical. In recent years, pediatric dentistry has evolved considerably in terms of both the techniques and materials used. A clear, odorless liquid called silver diamine fluoride (SDF) is recommended for molars affected by hypoplasia dentinal hypersensitivity. adults children who are at a high risk developing caries, it also helpful to prevent progression carious lesions. Teeth too compromised be reconstructed that not accompanied discomfort or infection can treated with SDF. The current review aims provide an overview most research over last 10 years on potential SDF, focusing clinical evidence professionally applied therapy arrest caries children’s primary molars. Research was conducted according guidelines PRISMA statement. “silver fluoride”, “primary molar”, molars” were search utilized databases Scopus, Web Science, PubMed, Boolean operator “AND” “OR”. Of these 195 studies, 13 studies included this review. quality papers assessed using reputable Cochrane bias assessment randomized trials. reviewed consistently support effectiveness SDF stopping existing deciduous molars; contrary, there insufficient draw conclusions about being effective prevention lesions
