Abstract Frontline medical workers (FMWs) faced high stress levels in frontline clinics during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to alleviate FMWs’ psychological by enhancing protection measures, which includes refining selection process, improving protective measures for their work clinics, and determining appropriate time evacuation. A Chinese-language-version questionnaire, covering stress-related issues sociodemographic characteristics, was administered FMWs Shanghai pandemic 2022, yielding 107 valid responses. The questionnaire’s reliability validity were subsequently confirmed. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) applied questions, with KMO Bartlett’s test values of 0.886, 877.8522 (df = 120, p < 0.0001), respectively. Structure equation modeling (SEM) used confirm factors measure relationships among characteristics. parameters SEM named SOFAIDC significant SRMSR, RMSEA, AGFI, NFI, PNFI being 0.0422, 0.0507, 0.9946, 0.9958, 0.7615, Paired sample t-tests revealed decrease score current week previous week, all t-values negative ( 0.01). latent growth model (LGM) LGM30 verified overall decreasing trend over weeks, R-squares (> 0.80), positive linear quadratic parameters. Based on trajectory analysis, a scorecard an AUC 0.856 developed. found that there are four (anxiety about infection, exhaustion, lack cognition hesitant feeling), targeted hospital could through SOFAIDC, as total effect or items from feeling protected negative. Meanwhile, although has decreased, 22.43% have maintained experienced trend, might increase weeks clinics. To perfect stress, be select low-stress trends, determine withdrawal (such 8), protections designed based between such providing adequate equipment, rationality schedules, recruiting personnel higher education levels, paying monetary compensation.

Abstract Background Psychological first aid (PFA) involves strategies to tackle problems that occur as a result of disasters. This study aimed validate the Arabic version PFA scale through validity (face, content, convergent, discriminant validity, and confirmatory factor analysis) reliability (Cronbach’s alpha). Furthermore, it assess perceived levels knowledge, skills, attitudes among healthcare providers (HCPs). Moreover, determined differences between HCPs based on their PFA. Methods A sample size 389 (physicians = 68, nurses 173, counselors 148) was conveniently selected participate during period 10 December 2023 February 2024 after completing translated into language. Descriptive, translation, validation process, were conducted. Results The translation process satisfied. content index 0.91, yielding proper clarity items. Three constructs loaded with total variation 63.43%, indicating model fit. goodness-of-fit indices for revealed relative chi-square 1.47, comparative fit Tucker-Lewis 0.89, root mean square error approximation 0.046. Cronbach alpha values 0.90, 0.87, respectively. We found have more knowledge (64.4%), skills (73.4%), (73.4%) compared physicians nurses. There are significant ( p < 0.001) HCP groups, particularly counselors’ group in terms Conclusions is valid reliable HCPs. results highlight emergent need provide interventions medical professionals, helps all Arab countries assess, apply, implement interventions.

Of 538 the original cohort, 289 (54%) completed eighth survey. Repeated-measures ANOVA revealed significant changes psychological distress (F = 7.4, P < .001), posttraumatic symptoms 14.1, three dimensions burnout: emotional exhaustion 5.7, depersonalization 2.7, .01), personal accomplishment 2.8, .008). Over time, increased, decreased, fluctuated significantly without net change. did not improve year prior to declaration pandemic's end. The lack improvement distress, exhaustion, depersonalization, period which case rates declined public were relaxed is a concerning indication chronicity impact pandemic on workers.
