Background and objectives Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) hypertension are leading causes of morbidity mortality worldwide, significantly affecting quality life (QoL). Stress, anxiety, poor psychological well-being often exacerbate these conditions, creating a vicious cycle. Relaxation techniques, including progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) diaphragmatic breathing, assist in contracting relaxing groups to aid individuals identifying reducing physical tension foster due increased parasympathetic nerve activity, resulting emotional tranquility. This systematic review explores the efficacy techniques stress improving QoL patients with CVD hypertension.

Background The quality of life for those with a medical history chronic illnesses such as hypertension is influenced by various factors. In addition to physical health, the biopsychosocial model underscores that arises from multifaceted interplay biological, psychological, and social elements. This study aims determine correlation between factors hypertensive individuals. Methods A total 204 participants who met inclusion criteria at Medan City Health Center were included in this study. Modified PSS-10, MSPSS, Bortner Rating Scale, WHOQOL-BREF questionnaires used support variable assessment. Variables tested chi-square logistic regression analyses assess association age, education level, occupation, income, support, stress others on patients. Results majority respondents had good (52.5%). There was an sports activities (0.004), level (0.013), (0.023), (p=0.045), income (p=0.036) life. Patients >3,000,000 (OR 2.9; CI 95%), moderate 2.7; working employee high 2.2; 95%) exercise >3x week/1>50 minutes week 2.1; better Conclusion Stress levels, activities, occupation contribute improved
