Despite advances in the field of male reproductive health, idiopathic infertility, which a man has altered semen characteristics without an identifiable cause and there is no female factor remains challenging condition to diagnose manage.Increasing evidence suggests that oxidative stress (OS) plays independent role etiology with 30% 80% infertile men having elevated seminal reactive oxygen species levels.OS can negatively affect fertility via number pathways, including interference capacitation possible damage sperm membrane DNA, may impair sperm's potential fertilize egg develop into healthy embryo.Adequate evaluation should therefore include assessment OS.We propose term Male Oxidative Stress Infertility, or MOSI, as novel descriptor for abnormal OS, many patients who were previously classified infertility.Oxidation-reduction (ORP) be useful clinical biomarker classification it takes account levels both oxidants reductants (antioxidants).Current treatment protocols use antioxidants, are not evidence-based have complications increased healthcare-related expenditures.Utilizing easy, reproducible, cost-effective

Oxidative stress is important in the pathophysiology of obesity, altering regulatory factors mitochondrial activity, modifying concentration inflammation mediators associated with a large number and size adipocytes, promoting lipogenesis, stimulating differentiation preadipocytes to mature regulating energy balance hypothalamic neurons that control appetite. This review discusses participation oxidative obesity groups compounds found plants antioxidant properties, which include (a) polyphenols such as phenolic acids, stilbenes, flavonoids (flavonols, flavanols, anthocyanins, flavanones, flavones, flavanonols, isoflavones), curcuminoids (b) carotenoids, (c) capsaicinoids casinoids, (d) isothiocyanates, (e) catechins, (f) vitamins. Examples are analyzed, resveratrol, quercetin, curcumin, ferulic acid, phloretin, green tea, Hibiscus Sabdariffa, garlic. The activities these depend on their reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavengers capacity prevent activation NF-κB (nuclear factor κ-light-chain-enhancer activated B cells), reduce expression target genes, including those participating inflammation. We conclude natural have therapeutic potential for diseases mediated by stress, particularly obesity. Controlled well-designed clinical trials still necessary better know effects compounds.

Abstract The world's population aging progression renders age‐related neurodegenerative diseases to be one of the biggest unsolved problems modern society. Despite progress in studying development pathology, finding ways for modifying disorders remains a high priority. One common feature is mitochondrial dysfunction and overproduction reactive oxygen species, resulting oxidative stress. Although lipid peroxidation markers stress, it also plays an important role cell physiology, including activation phospholipases stimulation signaling cascades. Excessive hallmark most Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, many other neurological conditions. products have been shown trigger necrotic, apoptotic, more specifically stress‐related, that is, ferroptosis neuronal death. Here we discuss involvement mechanism loss some novel therapeutic directions oppose it.

Schizophrenia is recognized to be a highly heterogeneous disease at various levels, from genetics clinical manifestations and treatment sensitivity. This heterogeneity also reflected in the variety of oxidative stress‐related mechanisms contributing phenotypic realization manifestation schizophrenia. At molecular level, these are supposed include genetic causes that increase susceptibility individuals stress lead gene expression dysregulation caused by abnormal regulation redox‐sensitive transcriptional factors, noncoding RNAs, epigenetic favored environmental insults. These changes form basis prooxidant state altered redox signaling related glutathione deficiency impaired function factors (Nrf2, NF‐ κ B, FoxO, etc.). cellular mitochondrial dysfunction metabolic abnormalities contribute aberrant neuronal development, myelination, neurotransmitter anomalies, parvalbumin‐positive interneurons. Abstract Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are produced under normal physiological conditions and may have beneficial harmful effects on biological systems. ROS involved in many processes such as differentiation, proliferation, necrosis, autophagy, apoptosis by acting signaling molecules or regulators of transcription factors. In this case, maintaining proper cellular levels is known redox homeostasis. Oxidative stress occurs because the imbalance between production antioxidant defenses. Sources include mitochondria, auto‐oxidation glucose, enzymatic pathways nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate reduced (NAD[P]H) oxidase. The possible NF‐κB, MAPKs, PI3K‐Akt, Keap1‐Nrf2‐ARE pathway. This review covers literature pertaining to strategies inhibit them. Additionally, summarizes related finding inhibitors.
