Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative with high morbidity and mortality, for which there no available cure. Currently, it generally believed that AD caused by multiple factors, such as amyloid-beta accumulation, tau protein hyperphosphorylation, oxidative stress, inflammation. Multitarget prevention treatment strategies are recommended. Interestingly, naturally occurring dietary flavonoids, class of polyphenols, have been reported to biological activities anti-AD effects in several models owing their antioxidative, anti-inflammatory, anti-amyloidogenic properties. In this review, we summarize discuss the existing pathogenic factors AD. Moreover, further elaborate on natural flavonoids potential mode action targets managing presenting wide range experimental evidence. The gathered data indicate can be regarded prophylactics slow advancement or avert its onset. Different different varying levels activity. Further, review summarizes structure–activity relationship based literature provide guidance design selection drugs.

Abstract With the aging world population, prevalence of aging‐related disorders is on rise. Diseases such as Alzheimer's, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), Parkinson's, atherosclerosis, hypertension, and osteoarthritis are age‐related, most these diseases comorbidities or risk factors for AD; however, our understandings molecular events that regulate occurrence still not fully understood. Brain muscle Arnt‐like protein‐1 (Bmal1) an irreplaceable clock gene governs multiple important physiological processes. Continuous research Bmal1 in AD associated ongoing, this review picks relevant studies a detailed account its role mechanisms diseases. Oxidative stress inflammation turned out to be common by which deficiency promotes diseases, other Bmal1‐dependent remain identified. Promising therapeutic strategies involved regulation provided, including melatonin, natural compounds, metformin, d‐Ser2‐oxyntomodulin, interventions, exercise, time‐restricted feeding, adiponectin. The establishment signaling pathway network will lead advances comprehension cellular mechanisms, shedding light novel treatments promoting aging‐associated brain health.

These polyphenolic divided into subclasses, in which flavanones the most prominent. Among them, naringenin and hesperidin emerging anticancer potential, especially for breast cancer (BC). Several mechanisms have been proposed, including modulation epigenetics, estrogen signaling, induction cell death via regulation apoptotic signaling pathways, inhibition tumor invasion metastasis. However, this information is sparse literature needs to be brought together provide an overview how can serve therapeutic tools drug development a successful co-adjuvant strategy against BC. Paclitaxel is a natural anticancer compound with minimal toxicity, the capacity to stabilize microtubules, and high efficiency that has remained standard of treatment alongside platinum-based therapy as remedy for variety different malignancies. In contrast, polyphenols such flavonoids are also efficient antioxidant anti-inflammatory have now been shown possess potent properties. Therefore, synergistic effects paclitaxel against cancer will be interest. this review, we use Boolean query comprehensively search well-known Scopus database literature research taking advantage simultaneously while treating various types cancer. After retrieving reviewing intended investigations based on input keywords, mechanisms their targets raging from cell lines animal models discussed in terms corresponding involved signaling transduction. Most studies demonstrated these pathways induce apoptotic / pro-apoptotic proteins, which turn may activate several caspases leading apoptosis. Finally, it can concluded results review beneficial serving theoretical foundation reference future synthesis, processes, clinical applications involving trials.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive memory loss and cognitive decline. Although substantial research has been conducted to elucidate the complex pathophysiology of AD, therapeutic approach still limited efficacy in clinical practice. Oxidative stress (OS) established as an early driver several age-related diseases, including neurodegeneration. In increased levels reactive oxygen species mediate neuronal lipid, protein, nucleic acid peroxidation, mitochondrial dysfunction, synaptic damage, inflammation. Thus, identification novel antioxidant molecules capable detecting, preventing, counteracting AD onset progression utmost importance. However, although studies have published, comprehensive up-to-date overviews principal anti-AD agents harboring properties remain scarce. this narrative review, we summarize role vitamins, minerals, flavonoids, non-flavonoids, mitochondria-targeting molecules, organosulfur compounds, carotenoids non-enzymatic antioxidants with diagnostic, preventative, potential, thereby offering insights into relationship between OS
