Recently, the treatment of effluent by agricultural waste biomass has significantly attracted wide interest among researchers due to its availability, efficacy, and low cost. The removal toxic Remazol Brilliant Blue-R (RBBR) from aqueous solutions using HNO3-treated Juglans nigra (walnut) shell carbon as an adsorbent been examined under various experimental conditions, such initial pH, adsorbate concentration, dosage, particle size, agitation speed, type electrolyte. experiments are designed achieve maximum dye efficiency response surface methodology (RSM). optimum size were found be 1.5, 7 g L-1, 64 μm, respectively for decolorization (98.24%). prepared was characterized Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) area, pore volume, zero-point charge (pHzpc), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), field emission scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive X-ray (FE-SEM/EDX), diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Based on fitting data with models, isotherm kinetic mechanism more appropriate Langmuir pseudo-second-order kinetics. adsorption can described intra-particle diffusion model, Bangham, Boyd plots. overall rate is controlled external film molecules. monolayer capacity, (qmax) 54.38 mg g-1 RBBR dye, obtained at a temperature 301 K. From thermodynamic standpoint, process endothermic, spontaneous, chemisorption favored high temperatures. Abstract The dyeing process of textile materials is inherently intricate, influenced by a myriad factors, including dye concentration, time, pH level, temperature, type dye, fiber composition, mechanical agitation, salt mordants, fixatives, water quality, method, and pre-treatment processes. intricacy achieving optimal settings during poses significant challenge. In response, this study introduces novel algorithmic approach that integrates response surface methodology (RSM), artificial neural network (ANN), genetic algorithm (GA) techniques for the precise fine-tuning pH, temperature. primary focus on quantifying color strength, represented as K/S, variable in polyamide 6 woolen fabric, utilizing plum-tree leaves sustainable source. Results indicate ANN (R 2 ~ 1) performs much better than RSM > 0.92). optimization results, employing ANN-GA integration, concentration 100 wt.%, time 86.06 min, level 8.28, temperature °C yield K/S value 10.21 fabric. Similarly, 55.85 120 5, 7.65 This proposed not only paves way but also facilitates diverse processes materials.

Husk and pellicle as the agri-food waste in walnut-product industry are soaring demand because of their rich polyphenol content. This study investigated differential compounds related to walnut between husk during fruit development stage. By using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-orbitrap (UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap), a total 110 bioactive components, including hydrolysable tannins, flavonoids, phenolic acids quinones, were tentatively identified, 33 which different pellicle. The extraction of bioactive compounds present in walnut (Juglans regia L.) male flowers (WMFs) was performed based on an experimental design using ultrasonic-assisted extraction. Solvent nature, time, and water content were selected as variables, phenolic, flavonoidic, condensed tannins contents antioxidant properties evaluated. Acetone the solvent with highest performance, extracts obtained this displaying increased concentration activities. For several high content, individual polyphenolic tocopherolic evaluated by means LC-MS LC-MS/MS. best conditions for (2.86 mg gallic acid equivalents/g WMF) (29.4 µg/g acetone 40% (N20) 20% (N15), respectively. Although total tocopherol concentrations lower than other Juglans parts, most quantity provided highly biologically active δ-tocopherol (84%). Significant quantities quercetin (101.9 µg/g), hyperoside (2662.9 quercitrin (405.7 isoquercitrin (1293.7 µg/g) determined WMF (N20). Both inhibited enzymatic activity α-glucosidase tyrosinase; however, inhibition observed N20, extract higher content. Conversely, N15 had anticancerous cell lines used, a moderate selectivity towards cancerous phenotype being both extracts. At non-cytotoxic concentrations, displayed good activities cellular cultures, decreasing basal H2O2-induced oxidative stress. This is first characterization hydrophilic lipophilic phytochemicals outcomes our study reveal that have strong biological activities, thus justifying further research to demonstrate their usefulness food, pharmaceutical, and/or cosmetic industries.

Inhibiting the activity of α-glucosidase is considered an effective strategy to regulate blood sugar levels and manage food-linked hyperglycemia.
